BTW, the extra downforce of the CLK should be limited by the regulation of 598 PP (yeah I know it will be a problem with the penalty system)
 
I think between 5-7laps on softs lap 5 times will start to increase so 1set of hards and 3 soft will be likely. Could maybe do a 2stop on 2sets of softs but I think you would be pushing it, so will be interesting to see what happens.

we stopped supra. lot's of connection problems these days

I propose we keep on going using the Tuesdays with only short sprint races until PD has solved these issues.

An interesting session though as we have learned that the combination meds/softs does not necessarily beat the meds only strategy in a 20 minutes race.

Maybe its not PD but rather our internet connections arnt that good plus the fact that most of us have old PS3s including me.
 
Supra - Like in the RX7 race I think you were too close to my rear bumper and made a lot of contact again. Please keep a little more distance next time. One little bump can actually be a big one because of the lag and can loose me the slipstream (and that has happened in the race).

Have you seen the amount of leagues postponed due to the online bug? Glad we are not the only ones. Let's hope it gets fixed with the next update
 
I have stop with gt5 it dont make fun with the online bug.
I drive now f1 2011.

Tony, it will be fine after the update. So DTM 6 will still be good!!

F1 2011 is full of bugs :( played it once, never again!

true, I'm only suggesting it will be after the scheduled maintenance, and I hope they do cause it could be the end of gt5 online leagues :( sorry I should'nt have been so certain!! but here's hoping :scared:

No need to say sorry but I don't think it will be fixed after this update. We'll just have to live with it for now...
 
Been away the last days. How about an unmodified untuned sprint race tomorrow?
 
If you want not fussed m8, I'm not sure how many will show but seems very quite around GT5 with the online problems.

Was thinking about the CLK, TT-R and M3 and a max PP to see if they have an equal performance then. Don't know if there will be an acceptable turnout though :indiff:

That's good news! The bad news is that I probably won't make it tonight. Got some urgent work to finish first...
 
Will there be a race tomorrow? And when will the series actually start because I got a feeling there's not much going on at the moment. Are you guys waiting for something?
 
Well, you're quite right about the 'not much going on' I'm afraid.

I won't be able to make it tonight again. :( And I hate to say this but I don't think I will be able to free up time to invest in running this series in the short term. I have accepted a project to work on and it will probable consume all my time.

Furthermore, when I look at the responses in this interest-check-thread and the survey, it doesn't look like there's that much interest. Although we will only know that for sure when DTM VI will be announced officially in the appropriate section of this forum. But with the experiences of the previous seasons I know it takes a lot of time to get all people committed and make sure we have a filled grid each race.
And then we have the 'bug'. I have not experienced it myself but it seems severe enough for some series to postpone the races. I'm not looking forward to deal with this as it will probably screw up the competition.

So, unless someone else steps forward to run DTM VI now, I propose to set the continuation of this series 'on hold'. I'm really gutted, since I promised JT to run this thing. I hope he will forgive me! :nervous:

Anyway, I will be online when possible to get my highly needed kick of racing (I think I haven't been offline for so long since the release of GT5 :banghead:) but that will be for some ad-hoc races where available.

Thats bad news i think we should do some short races for the mean time and take it from there what you think mate?

I still want to race in this series if we can get it going im fully committed 👍:)
 
I'm gonna be on 2night if anyone wants to do a few dtm races. I'll post the room number and all when its open.
