Dual display problem

Ok, I got a 19 inch CRT as a primary display, and a 17 inch display, also CRT. After I plugged them both in, they started up fine, but the second display (17 inch) is jarbled all to hell. I've tried changing the refresh rates, display resolutions, etc. and nothing seems to work... I mean could it ber the slight variation of the sizes in the monitors is what's screwing it up? Help me out.
 
I always thought that the monitors had to be the same size. Why would you want two different size monitors side by side anyway?
 
Because I'm too poor to have 2 19 inch displays. :dopey:

Anyway, I did manage to solve the problem by putting in the latest drivers. You can close the thread, mods.

Oh I don't know... more screen real estate, perhaps? I've got a 19inch as my primary and a 14inch as my secondary for programs like trillian and some of my icons.

I figured he was using them sorta like widescreen, where the displayed image is shared between the two monitors. That wouldn't really make since if he used two different size monitors.
