Hi guys, i was just wondering
( sorry if i have posted this in the wrong place )
has anyone made some form of home made handbrake mod
using the dual shock 3,
iv read online some people have made up lil ways to do it but i have never seen any pictures, im looking for something simple... and im not interested in anything like the chillicoke one.. only because im not tech savvy, so if anyone has any ideas.. plz let me know.

I have a ds3 E-brake see my GTp album "My G27 setup" for pics & info on how it works, Its very simple yet very effective. Plus theres pictures & info on all my other wheel mods. Also check out my Youtube channel (link in sig) for a vid of me drifting using my setup.

thats pretty cool... i have a thrustmaster hotas i could maybe try
but how are you stoppong rubber band constatly pulling on the analogue stick???

Well the controller is actually removable. I also measured everything before making mounting the controller and flight stick. So in result, when I let go of the flight stick it will let the joystick on the controller go back to the neutral position

I just avoided using elastic as the E-brake lever to ds3 R3 linkage & used metal wire (looks like solder wire) & used elastic to pull the lever to its neutral position. & my flight sim stick now works as a sequential shifter.

If you mean modifying the shifter buttons that will only be an on-off switch, which is pretty much useless.

If you are interested in more than using it on the ps3 buy the limited Derek Speare handbrake instead (hardware subforum), which is the real deal and probably the last one you will ever need, because it's perfect and standalone.
