Dude, Where's My Cars!?

Yesterday (March 21st) I had 202 Cars, Today there's only 15 cars in my garage!?. I only realised this when I was about to start the Gr.3 Daily race at brands hatch, went to my garage and..........nothing. Restarted the ps4, re loaded the game and just the same 15 cars. Is there anyway to bring them back?, anyone else have this problem or similar?

Odd. It's never happened to me so I can't comment, but plenty of threads in addition to the two I linked above. Search for 'lost cars' in the search box at the top and tick 'thread title'

I think unless you have been backing up, you are buggered.

Know one know's why cars disappear from players garages even playstation support does not know why. The best thing to do is backup your save using a online storage or to a USB, and please check you garage before you do a backup save and make sure you have not lost any cars.

Same thing happened to me a month ago....was so pissed I stopped playing the thing for over 2 weeks. Now, I'm slowly rebuilding my garage.

Every time I see another thread like this, I run to my PS4 and back up my data to 2 USB’s:nervous:

I have to look into doing that, can't afford to have that happen again because it might result in the death of my PS4.

Not as secure but a very easy backup is to just save to PS+. Press 'options' on the game before opening the application, then select 'upload/download data' and then 'save to cloud' :)

Crap! I have two PS4's. I logged in on the pro to upload a livery then cut it off. I logged in on my racing machine, and all of a sudden I was being awarded cars that I had unlocked weeks ago in driving school. Once everything was said and done, I noticed that my money was reduced from almost 11 million to about 5 million. After doing a visual check and looking at screenshots, I've lost about 10 million in cars, campaign progress, circuit experience progress and about 6 million in cash. I'm more than a little bummed. I had just done a manual save and it was over written with no way to revert. Is there no way to contact support?

Welcom to :gtpflag:. Sorry to hear about your problem, when you done a manual save, did you happen to check it before you save it to PS plus or to a USB ?.
 
Happened to me the other day. My PS4 crashed after backing out of sport mode and went to the blue screen with an error code. Restarted the game and everything was gone all cars, livery's, everything. I do backup my game everyday so I reload the save game data and all was good again. Except I lost all the progress I had just made in Sport Mode for that day.
