Event 1 - Impreza vs Lancer Showdown
Lancer Evolution X & Subaru Impreza STI on Top Gear, Enjoy!
Just a small introduced, my name is Chris or better known as Shigegaki on GTPlanet. I started hosting events when GT PSP was first launched and was one of the masterminds of creating TAC or Time Attack Challenge for the PSP Community. Since the launch of GT5, I have ran GT Academy in North America as well as WRS Qualify, started my own photo gallery album, etc. I miss hosting events, and I thought maybe it was time to create one to add to the community’s rich online events.
I hope that this will be one of many upcoming series between two car manufactures battling it out for the title of best platform. To start off this series, we are taking two of rallies most historic platforms. The Subaru Impreza and the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. This will be a 4 race series to test your abilities to see which car is supreme. Please see below for the car and course selections. Please note that we will have a signup sheet below to have an even amount of Impreza’s and Lancer’s for this event. The winner of this series will win a car that will be announced in the near future.
Rules:
- Clean racing only! I know that racing isn’t always clean and you’ll bump into one another. But if you purposely bump someone to push them off the course, you will be removed from the series.
- No Racing Modifications.
- Modification List will be provided February 6th, 2011.
- Cutting corners will not be allowed. 2 wheels must be on the track at all times, the other 2 must be on the rumble stripe. 4 wheels off the tarmac will be considered a DQ unless you lost control of your vehicle and are driving to get back onto the track.
- Races will be reviewed after the session is over to review and verify clean racing.
- We encourage people to use their mics to communicate, but additional background noise won’t be tolerated. If you have something going on in your background, or have company over. Please refrain from using your mic until the race is over with. Thank you for understanding.
