Built in 1935 as a one off special for land speed records, the Duesenberg SJ Special, a.k.a the Mormon "Meteor" (coolest name ever IMO) was equipped with more than one type of engine through its life. It was originally fitted with a tuned 400 hp big block V8, and was later changed to a hugely powerful V12 taken from an aeroplane.

In its original form, it set numerous speed records, including fastest average speed maintained over 1, 24 and 48 hour periods (Its 48h record remains unbeaten to this day).

In its original spec, the Meteor was capable of well over 160 mph, and with the aero engine fitted, a max speed in excess of 270 was rumoured...

It is my opinion that the Meteor is a historically important and very desirable automobile that deserves a place in the GT franchise . . . plus it would make a good playmate for the JL Tank Car :D
