Duplicating cars with backup game data?

I use this system to gift cars to my brother who has a lot less time than me, I do so we can race eachother with the same cars or equivalent, I dont feel like im cheating. I also have a few trades going but and this helps me not grind and hence not do my head in. This allows me to enjoy the game.

I prefer to grind b-spec through dream car championship with the vetted x2010 for my credits. I do however save on USB before purchasing a high end car, then I gift the car to a secondary account (one account is sufficient unless you are doing this for money selling dupes on eBay.) at the same time I gift 5 paint chips, I obtained my Matt black from purchasing the lexus lfa car. I do save and backup all gifts on second account in case a friend wants a car or something, I won't use it for gaining cars I don't have, I prefer to earn the "original" car I want to obtain, what I don't like is the grinding for credits and the paint chip nonsense, that's why I use the USB save method. I want a second set of all my RM cars to paint them all Matt black so they are not million credit cars, I will buy them, not dupe them, I won't save USB method, I will just grind out 2 or 3 dream car championships in b-spec, while on this forum or working on the computer doing emails etc.......

So if paint chip duping and never spending a million credits at a clip through the USB save system is cheating, I guess I am a 40 year old professional, husband and father of 2 who plays GT 5 for an hour or 2 at best each night when all are cozy in their beds who just wants a nice virtual garage to drool over type of cheater. Screw it, I don't care. I am B-spec lvl 28 and A-spec level 23 and have all liscenses and earned them all fair and square. :sly:

It's a video game dude, get over it.

Yes it does work and I've done it a numbers of times. In order for it to work you'll need to thumb drivers. Before you buy a new car save your data then buy your car. After you got the car send it to your other account, recopy your save data to your main account to retain the money you spent. Go to your other account receive the car and save the data from that account. Resend the car to your other account and receive it, go back to your other profile and copy the data over. You'll have both car on each account and still have the money you spent on the car on the main account. I strongly suggest not to have the same car on one account if you do this. From what I've been told each car you buy will have a serial number attached to them in the future. Maybe starting with the next update. Every time we sign on to GT Life online our garage will auto load to the severs storing the cars serial numbers. If the sever find two cars with the same number our garage will be deleted and our GT Life profile will be reset. I'm not sure how accurate this info is but if anyone else hears anything on this please share it with us.

If you read my post it explains the reasons why, not that I need to justify anything to whining losers like you. Call me a cheater to my face and I'll be happy to get all Jersey on you baby but for now, mocking your immaturity will suffice. Again, read the post, I am duping paint chips, not cars. I am trading cars between 2 accounts so I can keep my credit level where I see fit. Go and criticize the dudes out there duping 100's of Vettel and FGT cars and trading them here in GTP and or selling them on bay, which in my opinion isn't an issue if that's what they want to do with their time. You apparently want to spend your time being a school monitor. My rant is over, on with my life, wonderful job, hot wife and awesome kids......... Oh, and my cool as can be virtual garage filled with whatever car I want in whatever color I want.

There are many threads regarding this method but here's the quick easy way.

Main account,in xmb save game data to USB before purchasing car
Boot up GT5 and go buy your car then gift it or it's ticket if you want to save a step and up to 5 paint chips if you are so inclined.
Log out, go to xmb, delete the new data of the purchase of your car from the main account. Log out, log in second account, boot up gt5' accept gifts, save data to a second USB then gift car and paints back to main acct then delete in xmb game data and load USB save. Log out and log into main, load main acct USB before booting up gt5, then boot up, go to gt life and poof, your credits are the same as before you purchased the car, the car has been gifted back to you along with paints if so inclined and a copy of the car and paint chips are also in your secondary acct. Now this is where I end it but others have many many accounts and are duping as a common practice, acceptable to me but I don't have the time for that type of stuff, I'd rather race, mod, paint and tune my cars.

Real life, it's a killer!! I know how you feel. I used to play Grand Prix Legends for 4 hours at a time, play guitar and watch films into the early hours. Now I wake up in the early hours to teething and nappy changes!

Some people seem to be coming at duping with some twisted sense of morality about their game playing. Keep it for yourself and your bedroom at your mum's house.

I love real driving, I love virtual driving but I don't love grinding. When I've been playing racing games long enough to jump into any of them and make a good go out of it in the powerful cars in the game, sometimes having too much locked off is a chore and time is luxury I don't have.
