Duplication?

Hi i want to get a certain car with my ticket and i have that ticket and my question is how do you duplicate a car by using save games? I know people duplicate just wondering how you do it i'm really a nooby at this stuff.

Well, I know people have asked before, so try a search next time. But basically, you back up your save onto a USBstick, then open the ticket. If you don't get the car you want, you load the save from the USBstick and repeat until you get the desired car 👍

You duplicate a car by saving your GT5 data to a usb stick, sending the car to another account (yours or a friends) and then reload your GT5 data that had that car saved on it. You can then send the car back, have your friend keep it, or do whatever you please. You can do the same with tickets I think.

Thats how you duplicate a car, but I am pretty sure you are asking how to "grind" a ticket repeatedly and not lose the ticket so you can keep trying to get a certain car. If its a send-able ticket, you could do what I described above. I have no idea what tickets can and cannot be sent.

You are suppose to be able to use the ticket, see what car you get, and instantly hit the PS button and quit the game preventing the game from saving. When you enter the game, your ticked should still be there, but not the car you just got with it.

I would be extremely careful doing this. Maybe I am just an idiot. But I got my level 1000 ticket and tried doing just that, first try I got that honda cube piece of crap. I exited the game, logged back on and still had the cube without the ticket, even though I followed the instructions (or so I thought) to a tee. I would like to know the actual reason it did not work for me if anyone is experienced with stuff like this.

I used the ticket, waited for the car animation to show up. Got the POS cube. Exited the game without clicking any options and for some reason it still saved.

Yup probably not a good idea to exit quickly i did try that back then with a Coupon 1000 lol

Open ticket
If not the car you want, load save from USB back onto PS3
Repeat

If you did not do that, then thats why you had a problem.

Thanks Shoe. And yes, I've done this before with no problems. I also do it when gifting cars, tickets, etc.
Back up my game to USB. Send gift. Load USB back to PS3 and viola, I still have what I just gifted to whoever. Never a problem.

I don't believe in that. I do everything 100% legit. No duping ever. Just use a lot of tickets or wait for UCD to cycle 👍

You cannot use your game save on another login.


So what I do is this:

I backup my game save to a USB.

I do what I need to in GT5.

I exit GT5.

I delete my GT5 game save and the backup.

I then load the backup from the USB.


If you need to double a ticket/car then you can send it to another account on your PS3, then send it back the next day. Or arrange a trade on GTPlanet and double it in a day. 👍

Edit: Oops, I forgot. Don't dupe kids. Duping is the work of the Devil!

Or play the game your way. You can choose.

If your unlucky to not own any USB, you can create a psn account on your PS3.
Copy the save to that account and restore it from that account later.

But best is to use a USB stick and a PC (to backup to in case everything goes wrong)

A free tip, never accept new gifts while in "backup" mode, you would loose them after the restore !!

Didn't mean to offend you my friend. I don't see anything wrong with what I explained. Its just a way of keeping what you send. I have gotten everything in the game legit, no cheating. I figure that if I give stuff away for free, whats wrong with keeping a copy for myself. Anyway, if you consider duping cheating, then to each their own I guess.

I figure that if I give stuff away for free, whats wrong with keeping a copy for myself. Anyway, if you consider duping cheating, then to each their own I guess.
