Interesting.. I'd be in for this, I had another go last night, and alot of people don't go for the objective, you had 3 sites A B C you had to "Hack" and seemed to me, that myself and another player on the other team were trying to hack the devices etc... I gave up and started to team death match it hahahaha

Why not just Join Tritan-Industries? An established corp pre dating Open Beta that already has a number of EvE contacts and is ranked in the leader boards?

Also, if you want to add me as a Contact on DUST, Don Von Hulio. Just give me a message with GTP in it so i know its not just a random blueberry.

Best game of today... 39-0

Anybody else playing this?

Just downloaded it yesterday and it's pretty good. Kinda reminds me of Halo.

This kinda flopped, I was expecting literally every PS3 owner on earth to be playing it (like you would see on a ftp Halo or COD for example) yet it hasn't lived up to the hype.

That's because it actually requires some thinking when fitting your merc, unlike adhd games such as CoD etc..

I downloaded it and tried it out. I absolutely hated it. I'm no FPS guy, but this game is ridiculous. WAY too much information is thrown at new players. I couldn't even comprehend what the hell I had to do just to get into a match. They over complicated everything. I'm content with saying I will never give this game another shot (pun not intended).

I've been getting back into dust 514 again recently. The latest builds look great and play well, having not played since april.

I've currently spec'd into the new Commando Suit with Tactical assault rifle and Plasma cannon. I'm enjoying the simplicity of a suit that concentrates primarily on weapon combat and flexibility depending on the situation being thrown at me. I really enjoy the pace and openness of this game.

Anyone else playing much? I wouldn't mind finding a squad to run with on a casual basis, Australia/NZ time zone

I have yet to try Dust, but you might prefer this approach to Planetside 2's, which is to simply dump - literally dump, the first thing you see is your rocket boosted drop pod hurtling towards the ground - a new player in the middle of the most heated battle on the server with no explanation of the controls or anything at all. Then when you die you're left kind of scratching your head as to what's going on... I'm downloading Dust at the moment though, I'm kind of curious about it as I heard it does something to interact with EVE Online players or something.

Planetside 2 actually looks like a game I could pick up on, although I don't have a computer that could run it (and I don't think I will be getting a PS4 immediately (P-Side 2 is coming to PS4). I mean, yes it is a bit abrupt dropping new players in like that, but after some YouTube tutorials, you could probably do much better. I think I'll stop now, as P-Side 2 is off-topic.
