How come it used to say "Fairly hot excitment" before you edited it?
 
And while we're at it...

I don't mean to be nationalistically biased, but across the pond we spell it 'rival'. If it's 'rivel' down under, I've learned something new today.

And to show I'm not being completely deft, and to preempt anyone else like me (American) from trying, 'spelt' is the correct spelling of the past tense of 'spell' in other parts of the globe.

What I'm more concerned about is why it doesn't now say "Last edited..."

Does vB not recognize me as a living breathing human being? Everytime posts are viewed then edited they SHOULD say "Last edited..."

So why doesn't it?! :cry:
 
I've noticed it doesn't catch you edits within an minute or two. So if you quickly change what you typed, it deosn't always show edited by xxxxx on xx/xx/xx at xx:xx below your post.

Which is nice for those of us who have made a blunder or two, and want to change something without appearing as if one is retracting a statement.

I think if you edit it right away it won't say that. At least that's what happens to me.
 
You have 5 minutes to fix or correct any spelling errors or broken images or smilies in a post before the "Edited by..." line appears. :)

I was the same way in college (definitely not high school). I'd never study, turn in rough drafts, etc., and somehow always managed to do well... but never the best in the whole school.

I think some people do best when they wing it. Preparation scatters the focus, for some people.
 
But the wierd thing was; I didnt study for my maths exam and got 59%, 3rd equal highest mark in the class. The people who really tried to study bombed out badly. If there was a 50% pass mark on the exam only 9 people would've passed. And the people who werent in that nine, studied hard nearly every day and night. Its really unusual. Like I said, maybe I'm good at retaining info..... :)
