My wife and I got all these card and guest book entries on our website congradulating us for our baby. I couldn't believe how many doofuses there are out there. I'd say at least half of everyone who used the word spelled it with a "d".

Dux is when you are the top adcademic student of your school or year. The TOP! It's pronounced ducks but what the heck Cobra did you get a cup sheild anything?

I got Proxime Accesit last year for top Year 8 yeh!

A certificate and a $50 Whitcoulls voucher. I also got an academic award for Science, English and Metalwork so I got 2x$10 vouchers. $70 total. DVD's, here I come!!

LoudMusic!! Why aren't you perfect with your spelling?
He's been doing it for as long as I've been here - I've given up telling him (admittedly after one attempt).

Anyway, congratulations! I was at the top in my school... erm, Junior High, that is. :D

I also find that studying, in general, only confuses me. I usually perform best when I study for a minute or two at the beginning of the period before the tests are handed out, just to cram in some little tidbits that I don't know. However, studying the night before (or even farther in advance) has done me absolutely no good...

Thanks,

I find a quick speed-read of my book usually helps a bit.

Yup.

Basically, any studying that I do is only for studying the stuff that I don't know... if I already know something, I see no point in studying it (especially since I sometimes get to thinking too hard, and so get confused [there's that word again!]). :)

Smart people don't need to spell correctly. We make up our own words.

Speaking of stamina, how's your running/jogging holding up? I don't think I've been for a jog in months. Bah!! Though I was serious about it for a brief few weeks (:

Not bad - I'm thinking about a marathon September next year, but keeping the mileage down to about 20-25km a week over the summer. Fitness is good - managed 20km in pretty warm conditions last Sunday.

Congrats on the "Dux" Cobraboy! Change your custom title to:
Smart guy.

Klos-- By appending "-est" to "Smart", wouldn't you then be implying that there are actually smart people out there? If you took off the "-est", then you would be the one and only "Smart" person. :p

Meh, I'm so smart.

CB, the Smart One. But my opinions have changed. You will forever be bound to the Rumple Club.
