[DVD drive/burner] LG GSA-E30L

What it is:An all in one DVD drive that can read and write anything thats on a DVD and CD right now. And its got lightscribe.
What it costs: Got it at BB for 96.99, but newegg has if for 69.99. Then I bought some lightscribe DVD's and CD's for a combined price of 35 dollars

How long have you owned/used it: So far, about 3 days and counting

Pros:

-=Super fast CD burning
-=DVD burning takes a while, but I was burning a dual lay disc (8GB)
-=Quiet and "blends in" with the rest of the things on my desk
-=This plus nero premium (it comes with ultra, but I have had it for a while) is a must. You can do so much with "nero cover design"

Cons:

-=Well, their is none that I can see. Accept there is no on-off switch. I just unplug the thing and call it good.

-=If you have the room for it, buy it. If you have a cluttered desktop, make room for it, or buy a slim model

Overall Rating: 10/10

Conclusion: If I had some cash in the bank, I would have bought it online and saved a few bucks. But I had some gift cards to BB worth about 100 bucks. If you really want the best image on the disc for lightscribe, you must put it on the best () setting

I've been wanting to get one of these external drives. For some reason my computer seems to eat burners without mercy. I'll have one for a few months and it will slowly stop working.. I'm afraid this new Sony I dropped 80 bucks on is about to do the same. If it does, I'm getting me an external. Nice review. 👍

Yeah, if and when you buy it, make sure you get it off newegg link I posted
