any biters? just throwing it out there to take it away form the real thread. I'll start...

Personally, I can do without crappy pictures of fairly common cars. Nowadays if it's a Chevelle or M3 and the photo is rubbish, I'll just throw it out. But here's an example (as I'm continuing to sort through my Flickr) of what to me is 100% fine...

I saw a car I'd never seen before, and though I couldn't get a good pic, I posted it because I really wanted to know what it was, and figured it was uncommon enough that others may even be able to appreciate my excitement even though they couldn't appreciate my photo...

turned out to be my first Alfa GTV6, and one of my first Alfas that wasn't an old or new Spider

now go ahead and vent, and hopefully offer constructive suggestions, and maybe we'll help make DYSAGT even better

Kind of... I think the opinion thread could handle discussion, too... just add it to the title.

but if we no need new thread, fine, just trying to divert all the unnecessary griping away from the thread which should be full of mostly nothing but photos... so gripe here, please.
 
I have a bunch of blurry pictures, so blurry I don't post them. I could post them here? People would likely gripe..

OMG the trollers... but no, this wouldn't be where to post blurry photos, we'd need a new thread for that! lol. but I know what you mean about those weird minis, I've seen 1 or two, and I had to look twice, and kind of scrunch my eyebrows and go huh? really? odd design, that...

but no, this is more the place (if this is a place at all) where we can go: Arrrggghh!!! I hate reposted photos! especially when somebody else took them! Okay, you saw a car, we got it the first time (assuming the photo was intelligible) we don't need to see it again, even if it's a better photo this time!
 
The did you see anything good today blury and really far away pics edition thread I like it. :lol:
 
I never posted that photo anywhere and I've not seen that car again.

doggammit, trying to be constructive here, not just have a free-for-all rubbish and crit fest... if anybody has anything to say about how DYSAGT could be better, by all means, this is the place to say it...

ah, I just don't get the internet, maybe I'm too old...
 
Is another thread needed for 'discussion' of posting cars on an internet forum? I don't understand why some of you get so carried away and get so butthurt. No need to tell people to 'stfu' and act like it's a special race, you're posting cars on an internet forum. It's not that hard for someone to take a camera around with them, so why act like it is? Seriously.

And anyway, isn't this what the opinions thread is for? This thread just seems like asking people's opinion on blurry photos, which seems fit for an opinion thread.

And before I get "you're not a regular" thrown at me again, I've been watching this thread ever since I joined five years ago. I just don't see the need to take photos of nice cars I see, and I'm not fast enough anyways. Yet I still respect the people that do.
