E92 330i vs E92 M3?

Okay, so I've seen the standard E92 330i in the UCD on numerous occasions but haven't bothered picking one up. Does anybody out there have one? How well do they respond to upgrades and tuning? Can they be turbocharged? Is it really worth buying one when it comes around again? No need to answer all questions but a little bit of information about the car would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
 
I got one, I bought it just to collect it, it can't be turbocharged, didn't plan to tune it. I'd like to keep it standard just to know how it drives.
Whether it is worth buying it's up to you, I just like to collect cars, can't do it in real life so
 
I bought one and lightly tuned it to about 300 HP (tried to make 335i out of it). The I6 sounds nice so it was a good drive. The rear end has skinny tires and runs out of grip easily, so it really can't compete with a stock M3 let alone a tuned one.
 
I get you completely and appreciate the reply. Since it can't be turbocharged, I probably won't end up getting it because it won't compare to the M3.

Honestly, don't miss it.

It's an amazing drive. And feels different than the front heavy V8 M3...
 
I may consider buying one if it appears in a decent color again (there's a dark green I like) but I don't see myself tuning it.
 
Its not an e92 ... otherwise it would be an 335i twin turbo charged straight six...I believe that the 330i you are referring to was an 04 or 05 and they didnt change the body style of the 325i and 330i til '06 and the m3 til '07... In any case having driven all of the above cars including a stage 3 dinan m3 (06) I would choose them in this order... 1st 06 m3 with old smg pkg, 08 335i with minor engine mod or chip, 3. e92m3/e56 330i,4. e92 330i/328i
 
I'm not a BMW fanatic by any means, I only referred to it as an E92 330i because it has the same front end "style" as the E92 M3 (which is identified as an E92 in the description in the game).

It's an e90. e91 is the touring, e92 is the coupe and e93 is the convertible.
