Easiest car to drive fast?

Lotus Elise 111R/Tuned. It turns on a dime and is prettey quick. It can beat any other tuned car at suzuka. Like the R8, it's slow on straights, but turn that thing and you will know what i mean.

PS. Unlike the GTR, it is not a boring "do it for you" car(no offence toi the gtr its best nissan ever). It is really exiting to drive.

I agree with you 100% 80Y. Not only am I a little faster in the Z06, I have more fun driving it. The easiest car for me to drive is the Mines R34. I like to drive with all the driving aids off, and this car is great for that. I know a few people who don't like the F430, but I can do pretty good in it. The brakes are great. As for drifting, I'd have to go with the Blitz R34. No suprise there though I'm sure, it is a drift car.

Funnily enough, the Blitz is one of the only cars I can't drift. You get angle and lift off, but then apply the throttle and you go forward more than sideward. The big three drifters for me have to be the SL55, the California and the 599 although I did get a rougue drift session with an ISF before screwing up the final corner - havn't been able to get it to do that again though.

I can't drift it either, and dislike it because of it. My favourite drifters are the M3 and California. And if I'm lazy the R8.

I'm guessing you play in standard mode? With standard physics, yes the tuned 111R is very easy to drive and quite fast. Understeer is virtually non-existant and yet the car still isn't too tail happy and uncontrollable. In this mode it's nicely balanced.

Professional driving physics is a completely different animal however. While it still is fairly fast and turns in well, it can be a handful in the corners. If you're not smooth with your braking and throttle applications, this car is a snap-oversteer monster. Hardly "the easiest car to drive fast".

Don't get me wrong though. All that said, the tuned 111R is arguably my favorite car in the game. With enough practice and a capable driver, this thing is brilliant on short technical circuits (i.e. Eiger Nordwand). Also, like many midship/RWD cars, it can be a very rewarding driving experience. It responds well to smooth driver inputs.. early straight-line braking, light consistent throttle, etc. But the 111R, easy? Not quite.

That suprises me. I always do pretty well in it (at least well for me, drifting isn't really my thing) I also like the Mercedes, and the Aston Marton DB9. The one I have trouble with is the 599. I either end up off the course, or backwards on the course. Like previously stated, it's funny how many different driving styles there are.

New GT-R is the answer :) R8 in reality is great to drive but in game it understeers way too much.(irl it almost feels like a rwd)

Ford GT Prototype is the fastest car in the game, I've had my go over 380KM/h, but the Z06 HP tuned is the fastest along the corners.

I love the tuned Clio. Got it tuned and I find I can drive it faster and more agressively than most others. Absolute blast. Also like the tuned Viper, but find the stock GT40 a handful. Then again, what do I know., I drive a Jeep wrangler anda civic in real life!!!!! :)

Easiest car to drive fast is the F1 okay.

I disagree too. The F1 is superficially easy to drive, but to get the most out of it is difficult and exacting.

In close racing a small mistake in the F1 is equivalent to a big mistake in any other car. The grip level is misleading re its ease, in fact it requires great and consistent precision to be fast, and because of its speed and the required reaction times, that is very difficult to establish and then maintain.

I'd suggest the F1 is harder to drive well than the LM, which is a favorite of mine, and is a car that many people seem to find difficult.

I find the easiest to drive are the AWD cars. The GTR is the fastest, the R8 the easiest (but if the full version of GT5 is released with the V10 engined R8 in it we may have a faster fox in the chicken coop)

I would have to agree with all the Skyline voters. They are excellent cars to drive fast.

id actually have to disagree with that. the F2007 is an easy car to drive but its not easy to drive fast. it takes a whole diferent driving style to drive the F2007 fast.

Well when you drive it the same speed as the 2nd fastest car in the game it's easy to handle (not including the citroen, cause that isnt an actual car). It's a different story when you go all out of course.

I fined the Understeering GTR makes it not so easy to drive, And the ZO6/Tuned is by far the best car "for me". the normal Zo6 is a handfull to drive fast but the Tuned version is lovely. sticks to the road and goes like stink. In 750pp form it can beat the GTLM's.

The AWD cars in TT mode are a right handfull to drive.

Oh yeah the Ford GTLM is the easiest car obviously... lol jk. I would have to say the R35 GTR. Adjust the the brake bias like people have said and even a middle schooler could get it to go fast. Moving up the ladder, the ZO6 tuned is great. Its not that it is easy it is just predictable. It won't kill you for small mistakes but does not let you get away with big ones. Then finally I think the Lotus Elise 111R tuned has the best difficulty to fast ratio. On Eiger, London and Suzuka there is hardly a car that keep up with it. It corners like nothing else. From 1-100mph there is sooooooo much grip it is almost unreal. But at higher speeds it can get unstable and harder drive. The tail does step out on hard braking and corner exit but if you know this ahead of time it is not hard to correct. Look at the time trials for the 111R tuned on Eiger. They are stupid quick. I can turn the AI to 98 in arcade with a slightly tuned 111R tuned (248hp, R1 tires, max df, suspension and shorter gearing) and catch the GTLM within a couple of laps. Mind you the GTLM has more that twice the power and weighs only a little more.

When GT5 comes out I hope they include the Exige an most of its variants. That car is just sooooo good in the corners.

Ive just discovered the Tuned Clio V6. Saw it on Top Gear so decided to give it a go!

In time trial im starting to use s2 front/s1 rear tires alot more; using the six axis I find there is understeer in most cars. With this setup the car is alot of fun, and can carry nice speed through the corners.

Im using standard physics though, the lower power/front driver cars are fine on pro but the throttle response is too sensitive with the powerful cars.

I have to admit, My hat goes off to those guys able to control some of the monsters like the GTLM with a sixaxis on PRO phisics. I dont know what I would do without my G25. Probably crawl under a rock somewhere.

I think the Nissan GTR is by far the easiest car to drive fast 'out the box' even with the aparent problem with the brake bias which I have never found to be honest.
