Hello everyone; I am wondering if anyone can give me some advice on what car will be able to achieve an easy win on this championship so that I can win the Veyron that I desperately want!

I'm only level 15 and I casually play the game. I have hardly any knowledge on amazing racing cars (I settle for the sport cars). I attempted the championship and I came 3rd overall with 1st place on Circuit de la Sarthe. I used a fully tuned Ferrari 458 Italia (again I love sport cars and I know pratically nothing about tuning (I just buy everything)).

So, what is a good car to easily win (btw I'm not a great driver)? A reasonable price as well! It must be something much better than that annoying white Jaguar that's impossible for me to catch when ahead. I appreciate any help, thanks!

the best thing to do is get to level 6 on b-spec and win the nr-a roadster cup. the prize car for that race is the Mazda Furai concept, which will win the gran turismo world championship pretty easily. not to mention its tons of fun to drive.

The Mazda Furai Concept '08. It can be won from the NR-A Roadster event (Professional) in B-Spec mode. It will only cost you a lightly tuned Marza Eunos/MX-5/Miata.

It's a walk in the park with the Zonda R which you can get in bspec:tup: or it costs 2.6 million credits:tdown:

I used either my Mclaren F1, or my Furai, I can't remember for sure, but either should be able to do it. The Furai is a B-Spec reward, so I'd go for that, it's pretty easy to get.

This is by far the cheapest and easiest way to do it.

used the Stealth McLaren F1, GT-R 500 and SLS for easy wins. Sure the ZR1 race modified would destroy it.

There are tons of cars that can win this race. The main thing is good tires and downforce add to that some HP and you are good to go in pretty much anything.

I most likely used the McLaren since that is what I had in the garage at the time.

Thanks for the information, guys. You're all very friendly - something you don't find on the Internet everyday!

I'll get the Furai (I remember it actually from GTPSP) and attempt the championship again, even though I'll probably mess up again like I always do on any race :/

I used the Gallardo LP560-4 tuned to about 660HP with racing tires and won pretty comfortably, especially at the ring +25 sec :)

I'm trying this series using the Ferarri 430 I used for the Ferrari race. I tuned it up to a little over 600hp but I'm having trouble even keeping up with the race cars on the track. 12th place (last) at Sarthe and the 'ring. My best finish was second at Grand Valley.

Any suggestions? Is this a reasonable car to use?

Additional : I have racing hard tires, LSD, stage 1 weight reduction and engine tuning.

Well, a massively basic quetsion ... I've had no trouble doing all the races up to the GT races. But, now all the same cars, with same tuning are slipping all over the places on 'all' the tracks in this series.

Can it be that I 'need' to upgrade to racing Hard (or is racing soft better?) 'just' for these races, even though it's the same track and the same car(s)?

All the cars I've been using to date are on sport soft, and been doing these tracsk easy as wink a full speed. it seems just crazy that the same tecnhique now makes me slip and slide everywhere ..:-9

Like others have said, use B-Spec a bit to get the Furai Concept, which is really a full-on race car. I think this is your best bet. It's better than sinking more money into the F430 at this point.

If you're having that much trouble, you can come back to the series much later in time after you've acquired the Minolta Toyota, which would walk virtually everything else in the championship.

I used the full race bmw mclaren f1 gtr as I wanted to give a run out. It totally destroyed the competition. It performs massively better than it's stats lead you to believe.

Thanks for the advice. When I checked last night I discovered that although I had bought racing tires for my F430 I hadn't equiped them. I didn't have time to run the whole championship but I was able to finish 2nd at Sarthe and win the Cape race easily. So I may try tonight with that car.

I did pick up the Furai Concept - that race was next on my B-spec to do list anyway - and I'll keep it as a backup.

Each event has specific types of tires that the AI use. For the closest competition (and best racing IMO), you should be close on both power-to-weight ratio and the amount of grip your car has (tire choice). Go larger on either of these and it's an easy win.

I created a Matchmaker spreadsheet that helps you find the best car for any event (or one that will destroy it if that's your thing). It also lists which tires the AI are on for each event.

woah I used an LP 670 tuned to over 800hp and racing medium and cant do the nurburgrhing because track is too narrow. Didnt try the rest of the tracks. Im finding it hard to beat on a fully tuned lp 670.
