eb gt4 release date

i know this is unnoficial so dont :mad: at me but i just checked in at my local EB and they said the release date for gt4 was may 1 04 so maybe the release date we heard of april/may could be correct...i dunno anymore what do you think...i just want GT4 to come! :banghead:
 
Wow, an EB store in Canada actually knows what Gran Turismo 4 is... that's incredible on its own. Not too long ago I went to an EB here in Montreal to ask when they would be receiving the new GT Force Pro wheel and the dumbarses didn't even know what it was :rolleyes: I guess its fair there is no canadian EB website.
 
I've heard many different release dates, some of which include, late january, and april , july 04' and now this which one is the true one??:banghead:
 
Frankly, I don't give a damn any more about the "release date", it's so damn old. It's like hearing stuff about Micheal Jackson or seeing that damn pic of him :shudder: All I know is I Will have it one way or another.

i went to a local eb and they have lots of signs and posters of driver 3 coming soon, but NOTHING about GT4
 
At least the force pro wheel is available in Australia now. I thought the release date was going to simultaneous, if not, hopefully we won't be too far behind the rest of the world.
 
Next time anyone has a new release date, can they please post it in a thread thats already been created not create a whole new thread for it. Theres hundreds of them on this topic now.

Anyhow, the release date is actually ticking some people off. "Good things come to those who wait." Well, there is a game that everyone waited too damn long for. And that was Duke Nukem Forever. I can recall Duke Nukem 3D Atomic from 1996 or so. When it was 1997, I heard of the first plans of Duke Nukem Forever. Since then, the last DN game was "Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project," and DNF is a DNF (in racing terms) in the gaming world. Thankfully, if it makes you feel any better, then you will not have to wait any longer to finally play GT4 and challenge people online and stuff.

Gran Turismo 4. The Drive of your life. And for good reason.
 
not for anything, but i pre-ordered mine in november and the release date then was january 19th, that date has come and gone and still no gt4. so like everyone else, until the game is physically in my hands on the way to ps2 disk drive, i'm not going to put too much stock into release dates.
 
Like I said, the game has a feasible date. It isn't like Duke Nukem Forever, the PC game that's been worked on since... hell... 1997 I think. Gran Turismo 1 was a new kind of racing game. Gran Turismo 2 added more features and MANY cars and rallies. Gran Turismo 3 brought more realism and beautiful graphics. And GT4? It will only improve on a dream that has been released in stores since 1997 or 1998. Even if it comes out by the time many of us are at the retirment home, we will be happy to buy Polyphony Digital's top franchise.
