Not sure why Canadians are confused by this; as it has been stated A LOT. (I live in Canada btw)

Amazon == Credits
EB/Gamestop == no credits. Just 25 cars, chips, outfit

Actually GZombie, you're not totally correct.

EBGames offered No Credits, 25 cars, paint, suit/helmet, avatar, Beyond the Apex II App and an extra 4 cars for all pre-orders. I pre-ordered my copy the moment the release date was announced and the product was on the website. I got all except the extra 4 cars and the app.

What you got is what I just said O_o

I picked up my preorder from EB too, and that is what I got.

The only problem I see with the Canadian Anniversary Edition's pre-orders is this:
IT ISN'T CLEAR TO ME why many Canadians are getting 20 vs 25 cars with their AE?

In the US it LOOKS to me like the AE came with a single code inside the box for all 25 cars. (The GameStop ad on the website listed all 25 cars as one single bonus).

In Canada the code from inside the box often seems to only give 20 cars. (The EB Games ad on the website stated that the AE edition came with 20 cars and in combination with the pre-order bonus pack of 5 (hidden in a link in the upper right of the ad's bonus box) would make a combined total of 25 cars; the 20 + 5 clearly suggests the need for two codes). Some Canadians seem to say that they got 25 cars, but they do not say whether they input one code or had a second code printed on a receipt which also had to be entered.

I almost wonder if there are two versions of the AE in Canada: some with 25 car code which were intended originally for the US market and others with a 20 car code on the inside which were intended for the Canadian market. Apart from the code printed on the paper insert, the US and CA editions would look completely identical. [I wonder if the Canadian AE copies have any French printing on their Blu-Ray box sleeves or on the DLC code insert. I know that I often get US market DVDs and Blu-Rays which do not have the standard French translations on boxes; so I assume when demand is high EB Games might get copies from their US GameStop counterparts to fill out orders.]

I've seen several posts by Canadians who say they have received only 20 cars [soem who do not even realize they were supposed to get 25] and clearly only had the BMW lease contest 16 -digit code and no other DLC code on their EB Games receipt. ALL pre-orders were supposed to come with the five car pack no matter which retailer you ordered from: but I see very little evidence or mention of EB Games retailers giving this code out to Canadian customers.

I suspect some of the AE editions in NA were changed so that the one code inside the box would unlock all 25 cars, but some only had codes for the 20 and needed an extra code from the retailer which EB Games' employees not only at the retail store level simply didn't know about.

Again this is all speculation based on limited observations.

If you are a Canadian please answer the following:
1) How many cars did you get with AE: 20 or 25?
2) How many codes did you have to enter: 1 or 2? Where was the second code if you needed one?

Canadian here, bought my AE from Gamestop (Richmond, BC). My packaging and the code insert were both English/French, if that makes a difference. The only receipt code I got was for the BMW contest.

1. I got 25 cars
2. Entered only one code

But we were supposed to get more than what we actually received. Read the link I posted earlier; EBGames offered more than we got!

I also received the same as bgFish.
