Edge Camaro is freezing my 500pp Trial Mtn TT

I've been battling with this TT freezing for several days now. I figured out that it is freezing with ONE car, the Edge Camaro. Yes the car meets all requirements. After running the TT successfully at first with the LFA, and today with the FR-S and AMG SLS, I tried the Camaro again. And it froze during loading...

Mine has been working fine. It may be connection related. Try a hardwired connection directly to the modem to see if that cures the problem.

How could it be connection related with a specific car? That first explain why driver options keep resetting to default, ie Traction Control - 5. I had it at 1 the last time I used that car.

I have cleared cache, reset the router, and pulled the plug on the PS3 for about 5 minutes.

A couple more details, doubt it matters; I changed and painted the wheels. The PS3 has been hard wired since day one.
 
I'm telling you, its the car thats at fault here. Like I said in your other thread, I have seen other people having similar problems with that car. Is there anyway you can delete it and re-download it again. Maybe the data for that car is corrupt. Just a guess.

Trying your suggestion now on my GTP account... After this, I will borrow it from a friend who used it in that TT.
 
A bit if troubleshooting before I try to delete it; the car was fine in my GTP account. I'm going to borrow it from that account now.

EDIT:
1: Downloading from XMB without deleting, freeze.

The Camaro can be shared, but not borrowed???? Ugh!

It cannot be deleted. I'm not about to delete the 29GB game file over this one car. PD will surely patch this. Off to Twitter I go...

Dave, have you tried using the Camaro in other TT's or other seasonal events to see if it works in them I used my Edge Camaro without any problem. You might try to redownload it from your download history without deleting it first (since you said you can't delete it. I downloaded mine on March 11,2011 so you'll know at what date to try to find it, as this was when it first came out.

It worked fine in my GTP account. II saw you used it for this TT, figures iI'd try it too. If memory serves me right, I used it in the FR Seasonal at HSR. I could be wrong though. Can't try now, my daughter is playing the LBP Karting Beta.

I did find it in my transaction history and went through the motions of redownloading it. It did not install a fresh car, it was as it was.
 
My GT5 was running like crap with 4.20 update.. 4.21 came out a couple days later and GT5 works a lot better now.

Opel, I'm trying to do the FR HSR race right now. I made it through Driver Options without freezing. Clicked on Start and was taking abnormally long to load. I hit Circle to quit and now I'm staring at the pretty GT logo.

Bummer

EDIT: During the PS + quit, it rebooted the PS3!!!
