What will happen to The Banna's in Pajama's?

Well, Barney seems to do okay considering how long his species has been extinct, so they'll manage, I guess.

Vat Man i dont think they might last as long as u think remeber the Bananas in PJs are edible bananas and the producers might get hungry and have a banana or 2 for lunch :p . The world would be dooooooooooommmmmmmmed with out bananas.

Well, there's always hybridding...or developing a method to make the banana more immune to disease. For some Central American nations, bananas the their chief export; it would devastate their economy even worse if something isn't done.

So if say, Nicaragua or Honduras gave $100million dollars to a university to fund research on saving the banana, then maybe a solution could be found.

Otherwise, I never imagined telling my kids..."I remember when bananas were plentiful, now you can only get them on the black-market..."

I remember seeing some really crappy video in school about "In the future, people will have to buy fresh fruit on the black market", some stupid, stupid attempt on getting kids to eat more fruits. Anyway, yeah, I thought the Bananas in PJ's were already extinct...

You know a couple of days ago I didn't know what edible meant. So my sister pulls this funny face and I pull one back and she says "Well, at least my face is credible!" and I exclaimed "Well at least mine is edible!"

Then she asked "Do you know what edible actually means?!"

Bannanas are the only fruit I eat. It beats apples, oranges and pears. And they're also easier to eat. With apples and pears the juice gets all over my $100 limited edition jeans, and that sux. If bannanas go, the whole food chain will be disrupted. And that will spell global disaster. :(
