Their next big, modified supercar, the LP640.

This monster of a car pushes out 663Bhp with a top speed of 216Mph.
Specs
Let it never be said that a factory tuner car can't take just a little more juice from the aftermarket. Edo Competition futzed with Lamborghini's top-of-mast Murcielago LP640, finding an extra 23 hp under the seat cushions. Actually, they found it in the ECU, the airflow setup and exhaust. The Euro-spec V12, they say, now produces 663 hp and 498 lb-ft of torque. Edo also fitted its tuner with a rear wing with adjustable lip, carbon fiber interior trim and a backup camera, so Lambo drivers might actually be able to avoid stuff behind them, without having to stick their heads out the door. Hm? 20HP increase over the LP640? I dunno...

Liking the paint, Graphite (Paint)/Black (Interior)/Black (Wheels) color combo very intimidating, "Wizzing on Ferrari" Sticker I find a great joke: Blue collar humor for the White-collar man.
 
It's got more improvments than the 20bhp power increase, but it's still not as much as I'd expect from Edo. Though I'm sure this will be quite the track car from looking at what they've done in the past.

Also I love that little picture on the corner of the windscreen if the guy pissing on the Ferrari name.
 
Omg, that car looks like a real beast. They've always have, but this one just says "IM GOING TO EAT YOUR BABY'S AND YOUR GOING TO WATCH" all over it. :D

Are you guys not familiar with Calvin and Hobbes on that side of the pond?

Also, no offense, Dave, but that decal is about as ubiquitous as misplaced "Type-R" or "GT-R" badges on questionably modified cars. Just as tasteless, too, in my opinion.
 
It's completely tastless, I just love the cheek of it. This isn't a questionably modified Civic, Golf or Saxo, this is a performance modified supercar that could already run with the big guns. It's not the same as sticking a Type-R badge on a Ford Fiesta, this car can and probably does piss on most Ferraris in stock form, let alone tuned.

I don't see the Calvin and Hobbs connection, unless your saying kid in the decal is supposed to be Calvin. I have seen Calvin and Hobbs before, never really read any of it though.

Meh. I guess I've seen it so much on the road (Ford truck with Calvin peeing on Chevy emblem, Chevy truck with Calvin peeing on Ford emblem, etc.) that it just doesn't seem like anything but tasteless to me.

The car itself seems kinda pointless; the improvements really don't seem that big. I think it looks wicked awesome, though. I might take this over the "regular" LP640 based on looks alone, provided that the Edo pprice tag wasn't too much higher.
 
Whats wrong with the standard LP640? Or are we looking for early alternatives before the Superlagga (however you spell it) shows up LP640 trim? Don't get me wrong, its still a nice car, but I wouldn't be likely to pay the extra money.

...I'm waiting for someone in a Ferrari to get Calvin pissing on a Lamborghini badge...
 
Since Bill Watterson never licensed anything but books relating to Calvin & Hobbes, the image of Calvin eliminating on some brand or effigy was obviously some anonymous vinyl sticker artist.

I hope the sticker isn't a $100 option.

I'm surprised you think Edo's LP640 is pointless while you think Hamann's isn't. You do know Edo Competition has taken all measures to to completely re-tune and set this car up in a different way.

We're talking about Edo here. The same Edo Competition who runs one of the fastest Porsches around the Nurburgring.

Besides, Hamann is repetitive. They practically use the same the body kit design and wheel set on every car now.

Nothing, but the fact folks can easily continue to squeeze mor juice out of it pleases the owners.

Plus, there won't be a Superleggera of the Murcielago. That mule is being reserved for the return of the Sport Veloce name.

Do you know that for sure? - Their website fails to mention anything other than changes to the exhaust and ECU and rear wing as far as performance is concerned.

EDO Competition
Edo Competition modified the Lamborghini Murciélago LP640 in the field of driving dynamics, optic and sound. Improvements that differ this edition considerably to the serial.

Aerodynamics is extremely important for a super sports car, especially, if
you move it on the limit. In order to get more output on the rear axle, Edo
Competition offers a rear wing with adjustable lip.

A unique sound is generated by edo competition high-flow muffler with
stainless stell exhaust tips. A new exhaust butterfly valve control on
request with remote control will also be available. Thus, the sportive rear
view is an outstanding side-effect.

More performance generates edo competition by changing the motor electronic with specially-adjusted mufflers and special high-flow air filters.

Particular customer requests give each Lamborghini a personal touch, e.g. it is possible to carry out different interior or multimedia tunings.

I don't have solid proof, but from what I read from the encounters of the Edo MC12 Corsa Spyder, XX, and Ford GT, a lot of re-tuning and set ups are done on stock parts to help achieve better performance. I can only imagine they'd do the same here.
 
It looks sweet but why the hell aren't the sidemirrors changed?! Those current ones must be the most hideous sidemirrors ever!

Yeah, I think it's more of a US thing. I see them all the time. Mostly ones pissing on Chevy, Ford or Toyota.
