This layout is in the current New FF Challenge Seasonal Event (May 2012)

I hope the poll should sum it up - but, what are your thoughts on the track, what things have you noticed about it. Do you find some bits terrible, does any bit of it remind you of some other track.

I have to say, I really quite enjoy the track, the opening reverse Parabolica into Grand Valley Speed way chicane is such a test of handling, then you get a sly little kink to the left and then a Monster eight apex corner (That's almost four laps of Bristol in a Nascar.) Then a downhill bit into some interesting twists, and an off camber jink into a critical left through the final split for the fast run to a tighter than you would like hairpin and then a dash to the line... which sees to be many yards before the chequered line marked on the asphalt.

It's too narrow for car racing with anything other that AI's, but it is a fun track to drive. Be great in a kart.💡

I think it's brilliant. Yes, it is narrow; you'd be hard pressed to stage a LMP race there. But in small cars, it's great fun, in that if there's no room to overtake, just ram 'em.

It is almost the same track which was used for the MR-seasonal (which is gone know).

I like it has a good flow. With 380pp you get almost a million cr (or more ?? done it with 170% and not 200 so can´t tell) and you´ll beat the AI still with 4-7 seconds :D

As long as you keep the cars light and less powerful the track does have some interesting bits. I suppose if I drove it enough I might learn to like it.

They used this track in the K cars seasonal which has now gone.

Nope it isn´t the Kei-Seasonal !!
I did the Kei-Car eifel thing probably 1 million-gazillion-freakydillion times and it started with a left corner.

This is the MR-Seasonal one because I used the Ruf 3400 on it (or the German Seasonal ?? or a pp based seasonal ??)

Part of it is the Kei cars one because I remember the long left hander in the middle of the track.

It's called 103B now but in the European Hot Hatch, (still available), it's called 110A

it's the same layout but feels different somehow.

It would be good if PD added an option to add one of these track editor tracks to your favourites list if you want to keep it permanently for racing on.

Excellent spot - I was sure I'd ran they layout before - it is pretty memorable after all, but after searching and searching (The names) I drew a blank, and thought it must have been at some time trial.

I'll have to run the same FF car at both events.

I think the recycling that this new PD performance scale has added will make a certain breed of hotlapper try for "One more lap" So rather than "Got the prize ticket and the gold star, see you in 14 days... it seemde like alot of folk were giving the tracks a rinse and repeat to see how the new "Limbo racing" works (How low can your PP score go.)

ANyone got any corner names sence of deja vu from the track.

The final section reminds me of a Luca van Gossum track in Belgium near Liege, "Le Thier" which was a triple apex left that tightened up as your moved along. I know this track it is all righthanders and this track has a much easier and softer run into the final apex.

The 8 apex uber corner could have all kinds of names
Istanbul Run
Constantinple Crescent
Byzantion Bend
Lygos Loop - Nice if you enjoy the works of Pliny the Elder.
Miklagard - A favoured name for the Scandanavian based fans and drivers
I guess that only the Turks really know...

I need to find out the true path here, which apex do you try to hit, and which do you miss.

I hated it in the Euro hot hatch race, and i still hate it now.
Terrible track for FF racing.

I guess it's a good track for tuning FF cars as it exaggerates suspension flaws, but I doubt you are going to have a good time.

I tend to dislike PDs attempts at track creator courses. Most of them have no rythm whatsoever. Combine this with little or no landmarks for reference, and endless blind, over-crest hairpins with insane camber, and you have a recipie for "glad that's over, never going back".

only a small number of voters - but the spread seems to suggest more people like it than not... BUT those that don't like - really don't like it at all, whereas the ones that do like it, they are a bit more spread over the love.

I wonder if anyone has altered their opinion on it if they did repeat run the FF430 seasonal to get a personal best lowest PP score/big payout for the event. (I guess most will gravitate towards Cape Ring as the dilatory AI will let even a hybrid win.

Ho hum, thanks for the feedback anyhow guys.
