Eifel Seasonal, F10 Top Times

I've just run this race a couple of times and turned in a 2:07:595 on lap 9. 👍

No doubt there will be faster times than mine in no time, but considering the difficulty of the track I think this is pretty decent. If someone wants to start another thread for the 2007 F1 be my guest, but please keep to the F10 for this one, thanks.
So friends, what are your top times?
 
I did a 2.03.956 👍 :) And yes, it was the F10, the F07 I have available for friends to borrow if they want to now.
 
Could you please add your tire choice? Otherwise the comparison is rather useless.

Sweet. What was your downforce and trans settings?

Mine were RS. Too slippery at the crown of those hills otherwise. Tried with the others first but no way was able to stay on the track on top of the hills.

I'll do it again after changing my downforce and trans. Should be able to get into the low 2's. Most impressive if someone breaks the 2 min mark on this one!
 
I broke 2 minutes on a couple of laps on this one. I think 1:58-1:59ish. Once I get to the front (aka 20 seconds into the race), I go into time trial mode and try to shave down my lap times. I think I also had about a 2:30 in there. :lol:

Stock settings on F10 + racing softs.

Man, that's crazy fast! I should have added "with a DSC". You using the controller or a wheel? I can see those times with a wheel, but for me at least, highly doubt I'll break that with a regular old controller. Good job!
 
First time in the F10 ran a 2.03.99.

My F2007 time is more than 3 secs faster @ 2.00.457
 
How the heck do you guys manage to stay on top of those hills at that speed? Insanity I say!

You don't ;)

Most of the hills are before blind corners, so they seem daunting to accelerate into. I found if I slowed prior to the corner, setup my line, wait till just before the top of the hill then hammer the throttle and cross your fingers that you're on the right line for the corner and the right speed not to leave the road! :)

There's 2 corners where if you go wide you avoid the hill crest where the car will leave the road, thus you can carry more speed.
 
2.05 with an F10 I borrowed from my friend. It's far harder to drive than the F2007, with which I managed to get a sub-2min time.

The F2007 is much nicer to drive. Anyone else experience strange vibration with the F10?
 
@ around 185 mph there is a strange vibration that starts.

Sorry, I forgot to say it was with a G27. And yes, I hate the weird vibration that starts at very high speeds (190ish).
 
Breaking 2 minutes on that track is simple with an F10...not sure why people are saying it's so hard.
 
I think the only thing people said was hard were their tire not the track
 
I managed a 1:58 on F2007...does it really mean F10 is slower than F2007? :D
 
Sorry, I thought you have to use an RX7 for the Eifel seasonal. Am I missing something?
 
I'm not sure if it's the exact same Eifel course but there is an Eifel course for the Ferrari seasonal event too.

I just ran that race : total time was 21:00:345 and my best lap was around 2:02:874 I think.

This thread is for the Ferrari Formula 1 F10 car, and there's a new track just up with the most recent update which is Eifel. There's other Eifel tracks for the other challenges in the seasonal events, but those are different configurations of the track.

But several people here have been saying you can use it in practice mode, but US only? Or have I misunderstood? I don't think we can select it.

I will have to look into that because I din't know that. That would be very cool if it can be selected in parctice mode for more one make races.
