I put eight dollars worth of regular gas in my Jeep this morning. I now have 1/8 tank of gas... that's right, one eighth (it was on "E"). This means it would cost me $64.00 to fill my tank.

Regular: $1.85
Premium: $2.05

I've never seen it over $2.00 before, or even close. I wish they'd just get this damned war over with already.

Back during the 9/11 stuff,.... west michigan got gas gouged(sp?) with $2.20+ for 87.

Right now it's 1.81 :irked:

And I thought I was sucking it up paying $1.629 this past weekend. Yeowch!

This past month was the first time I surpassed $20 in filling my tank. It was a shock. I couldn't handle $65.00 a fill.

Gas is cheapest in Texas - that's what everybody says, and it's evidently true. I'm driving around in the least fuel-efficient Ford Ranger pickup in mankind's history, but gas is fairly cheap - $1.499? - so it balances out.

hum,... we have something in common......

+++++++++EDIT+++++++++

Better?

Hmmm, let me see. In Belgium diesel costs about .90 euro cents / liter (about 1.15 / l for unleaded)

Our car takes diesel and it can hold 52 liters so it would cost about 45 euros to top it up... Not too bad for a European country :)

Anyways, if one US gallon = 3.79 liters, then regalar gas would cost about US$ 6,6 / per gallon in Belgium

Kinda makes you think ...

greetz!

64 cents for 1 litre of 87 octane here in Alberta.

I guess thats like $4.56/gallon roguhly. With the exchange rate, it seems as though I'm paying the most!.

try 79 cents for 1l. of 87 octane... and almost 90 for the 92 octane that goes in the Prelude...

Georgia's always been cheaper. It's funny, when I lived near the border between FL and GA, all the gas stations on the Florida side just a few miles out were either long since abandoned or out of buisness.

Thank you Dubya for gouging us! We really needed that!

Jeese! Only now it's getting around $2.00 for premium? Where the hell do you live? It's been like that for a LONG time in Minnesota! I remember when Regular was $2.00, good thing they lowered it. Oh, and the night after 9/11 gas stations jacked the prices up to either $4 or $5, but they got zapped by the Po Po for jacking their prices up...

1.55 is around where it is here when we're in a low time. Right now, I don't know where we stand, I forget to look. Maybe I will the next time my bro drives to school.

12 sec, i wanna strangle you now
64 / l of 87!
in bc its like... 84.. ><

Hey, you all have it pretty good! In California, regular unleaded has been at the $2.00 mark for a couple weeks now. Ugh.

The last time I was in town to buy gas it was around $1.65. I've seen it at $1.90 once or twice. I remember a time when you used to be able to get a gallon for $1.15. This is absurd. OPEC is using this whole "US is going to war with Iraq" as an excuse to rake in huge profits(Of course, when haven't they done such a thing?).
