I remember that. Fortunatly I had a full tank on 9/11 so I didn't need any till prices went down.

Last time I filled up it cost me $ 43.00.

I was living in Denver when 9/11 happened and gas didn't go up, but I do remember several station owners around the country being arrested (rjensen put it best - zapped by the po po's) for spiking their prices.

0.853 Euro or Deustch Mark? Does the DM still go around like Italien currency does? Or did they stop accepting it and only accept Euros?

Either way, I think your exchange rate is a little off....

I don't think the bank hands out deutshe marks but they will except your Euros for a while I don't know if that has worn off though:D

Here's a better one than GC's

Heh, on a bad day, petrol unleaded here is about 1.00 AU (about 60 US cents) a litre.

So cheap out there. In US atleast.

Here it's about 1.10€ (euro) a liter but usually closer to 1.30€.

Same thing in car prices. If you bring a ~94 Supra Turbo here (from Germany of course because there's no Turbo Supra's anywhere here) you get to pay 10000-15000€ taxes (doubles the price what it was in Germany) of it or you won't be driving it. :banghead:
