Hello all,
This is my small gallery... I hope you like it. I have been member here for a while, but I haven't been very active, so I still feel like a newbie.. Or, I am a newbie, so please take that into consideration when eventually flaming me :)

Allright.

This was my Eclipse at 500.000 km (now it's at 1 million). A small Photoshoot in New York City, washed, and with some used Mercedes Benz wheels, if memory serves me right.

One of my many Evo VIIIs. Oh, how I love that black and red combination.

I am terribly sorry, but I haven't got accsess to the rest of my images here and now, so I hope this will do for now.

Hope you enjoy!

They are a little darker, but in general I like your photos. And your right that Evo.7 is awesome. bring more...

Thanks! :)
Yes, I am really fond of that Evo. I think the red and black combo suits the car very well... It's not an Evo 7, but an Evo 8 MR. No big deal, really, and the picture is very, very dark too, so it's hard to tell the difference.
I hope to get some more pictures of that Evo tomorrow, and find some of my other pics too, among those an E55 AMG, an Evo VII, a Honda Ballade Sports CRX, a Nissan Silvia S13, VW Golf Mk. I GTI, etc..

Bought myself a new car the other day, a white Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI T.M.E

The mileage was around 39.100 km when I bought the car, now it stands at 41.000 km.

I was planning to keep the car pretty unmodded, but things never go as you expect them to, huh?
Mods to date are following:

HKS Racing Exhaust and Air Filter
Blitz Racing Intercooler
Mines ECU Upgrade

Things to come:

HKS Turbo Stage 1
Ralliart Brakes
Amuse Suspension (Sport or Semi-Racing)
Ralliart Stripping Stage 1
Blitz Racing Tires - Hard (R2)

What you can see I'm trying to do here, is to do the most elementary, bang-for-buck upgrades. This will show that a fast car don't always have to be expensive, and that simple often equals fun. When I'm done, I hope to come under the 50.000 C category, and still have a blistering fast car that will be able to give cars costing twice as more a lesson at the track!

that EVO pics really rock the house:)

Thanks! Cool to hear! :)

lmracer
neat lancer pictures dude. and why does your eclipse have 1,000,000 miles on the clock?!?!?

Because I wondered what happened at 1.000.000 km.. A true GT lover, eh? :D

Thanks, man!

The Evo VIII picture looks like the beginning of a drag race. Nice shot.

Thanks man! I really like the Evo pictures, and how the Evo blends red and black in a beautiful combination!

I also like that 2nd shot, because it's a bit different from everybody else. While all people want to race the 'Ring, I took a picture of the Evo turning off, and about to turn around. Very realistic shot, you don't often see the Evo in 200 mph, and then I think it's very patethic really. An Evo going on big, straight roads don't really show a good picture. But, I've seen quite many Evo VIs in my life, and seeing a wobbly Corolla at 30 mph in small potholes and dumps, and the Evo VI afterwords, it's two different worlds. The Evo is stiff, handsome, and very aggressive. It's first actually when you see an Evo VI going slow you notice how hard-edged it is!

Thanks for the great comments, guys! I will definatly keep posting my pics. 👍

in regards to the T.M. Evolution; that is a very cool idea. i like taking on project cars and giving myself a budget. sounds like that thing is going to be fast. lemme guess.. 390 hp, 341 ft.lb, 1/4 mile in 12.87? let me know how close i am :D

Nice one. We'll see ;)

Ralliart Brakes
Amuse Suspension (Sport or Semi-Racing)

This picture is actually very realistic, got an idea the other day..

1983 Honda Civic, at Fuji's Speedway 80's. Tomorrow, 2001 Honda Civic Type-R, at Fuji Speedway 2005. Until then, enjoy the red Civic with green rims. We're not talking ricey, we're talking JDM Old school!

Enough Japanese cars? Let's move over to a German meister, called the VW Beetle. Yes, the original..

That's all.. For now :)

You seem to have put the brightness up more, which is good. But I must say your also improving with every update.

I didn't mess with the brightness on these photos. I use the sun as a light, the Fuji's weren't too good, but I really liked that Grand Canyon shot :)
Update coming today, at school now, but I'll be home in a few hours :)

Well you fooled me well eiriksmil, so for that good work. But if you want, why don't you put the brightness up a bit more.

I've done that on some photos, sometimes it's all good, and other times it ruins the picture. It's better with nice photos from before, so you don't have to work so much with it afterwords ;)

Nice start to your gallery so far. Really enjoy how you use the natural lighting of the tracks to give the sense of realism to your shots. Also like how you got the Eclipse in line with the taxis in New York, lol.

Kepp those shots coming. Liked you newest update of the VW :)

Keep 'em coming and feel free to check my gallery when not busy ;)

Nice starting images!

You do have an Eclipse with thousands of miles. I'm sure you should get a new one.
Keep the images going and use more cars!

Definetly a nice start to your gallery mate,, But I think there's room for improvement (there is always room for it) I find your pics a bit darkish,,
Overall,, nice pics mate,, keep em coming:tup:

Pretty darn nice pic; did you use a filter? It looks sort of cartoonish/hand drawn and it looks great with it!

Used filters, yes; having played a lot with GIMP 2 lately, with filters, I tested it on the Evo.

I used:

To get a nice effect, cartoonish, very cool since it's sort of cartoon from before, instead of making it real like everybody else I figured I would go my own way.

Filters -> Artistic -> Cartoon...

To get smoother edges and clearer lines.

Filters -> Improve -> NL Filter...

Just if anybody wondered, and wanted to do the same thing. Thanks for the comments! 👍

An ultra rare 1970 model Nissan Skyline GT-R. The first GT-R model, actually, and this example is the first to reach Seattle.

More old, rare cars, now the original Audi Quattro, in the color "Marsrot", also used on the Volkswagen Golf GTI Mk 1.

All your pictures are exellent! Starting with the Eclipe in New York which I thought was great anyway, then the Evo pictures were wicked, and finishing with a Skyline which has been angled perfectly, keep up the great work I hope to see more updates soon :)👍
