Well I think you softened the edges too much so they just don't look sharp, so they could use some sharpness... :boggled: got it? :dopey:
 
Sharpen the car up. In the first pic, it's common sense that the subject is the Minolta, but it looks like the subject should be the stands. The only time you should soften/blur anything is if it is pixelized, or if it's meant to be a speed shot, like going down a straight at 230 mph.

Also, you should try to fiddle with the saturation. If you raise it up a lot, it can give out some stunning results. 👍

Great update ekmatt, I prefer less softening, but the pics just get better and better.
 
Hey thanks guys. Yeah, I tried to blur the background, but it came out too soft. On my next update, I'm going to try and focus more on the car, not the background.
 
As Duck said, the first shot seems like the focus isn't on the car. In the second row of thumbs, the first pic has the car standing out much better, and my favourite would've been the fourth shot in the last row if the car had been in focus.

Do things the other way around next time; blur the background a bit, and leave the car as it came in the original GT shot. Very rarely is a super-blurry car going to work in a picture.

nice work dude, that first pic is the shiznit, you could edit the hell outta that, great set of pics, glad you drifted it, only drifting in the gravel trap isn't really drifting... Thats a sweet track to take pics of that car, nice job.
 
@slipztrem, yeah, I blurred my car too much this time. I tried to smooth out all my edges on the car, including where the blue and white paint meets. I guess I had too big of a brush to blur it in.

@Mr Laocean, Thanks man, you're new around here? I see you got your Honda around 1'07.xxx around Tsukuba. That's garbage, especially with 122 hp :sly: I'm a big Honda Guy myself man. Do you have some AIM sn where we can talk Honda's?? Thanks for your reply though.

@440cuda9sec, Thanks for your reply once again. Yeah, I drifted it...with Driving Aids on :guilty: I had to, I was bored, so I pulled e-brake and tried to hold it out. And in the gravel pit thing, that's just to show how fast the car is and how hard it is to control for a dude like me :)

...Alright, I had these on my USB Stick a while ago, just thought I'd edit them today. There were like 50 pics of this car that I had, but I only picked out 10...On a scale of one to ten, please tell me what you think my pics are this update...Please comment on it as well :)​

They look pretty good, but a little basic - needs some levels adjusting and the quality looks quite low. On the other hand, the angles are good and there's a wide variety of angles. Try and take more pics with things going on in the background if possible. This update i will give a 7. Nice work.
 
Hey every body, thanks for telling me what my pics were...Yeah, they weren't my best nor my worst...But I didn't spend a lot of time and I wanted to get it over with. I think I personally got like a 7/8...So yeah, thanks again, I'll have another update Wednesday or Thursday, and this one will be big in my opinion ;)
 
I'll give you a 7.786446437. :p The car looks great, but unfortunately, the track isn't one of the better places to take some photos. :indiff:

But overall, it's a good update. 👍

Thank you guys. I think this is my best update...It took a while to blend in the edges, some paint, and by the rear quarter panel, that fuel pump thing where the gas goes in, it's really jagged...You should see a nice update tommorow :sly:
 
Sometimes less is more and in the smoothing case it absolutely is so. This really is your best update so far. 👍
