Eliminate the 12 hundred car garage to 50 cars

It's simple people would have better tuned cars if they had less instead of hundreds of cars you can't even keep up with,more money if they had less check my post on " mechanical failure"they could use there money system for somthing like mechanical failure just think about it.In real life you break it you pay for it.

I like this, but increase the limit to 50 or 75. There's no reason why we can't all have a Jay Leno-like collection if we choose.
 
@Dylan.how many cars do you have?are they all tuned?isn't it a headache sometimes when you have so many car you can't keep up with,your right I bet you have aleast two of the same car who,needs a thousand cars in there garage,it better to have less cars that would give them more memory to do more stuff.

I know everybody not going to agree but that's ok can you really say that you like every car on the game or drive every car..ok you Have 1200 hundred cars in your garage...then look at there line up count how many cars they have that look the same with the same spec only defference is the size of the engine.another example,you have a 1.3liter Honda civic and then you have the same model same year but it has a 1.9 liter and it lighter that's a no brainer right?so lets look at the fruit of your labor, all that grindin for what just to have all the cars on the game I'm pass that I don't need a thousand plus cars give me a lmp,a NASCAR,gt500,300,muscle car a couple of super cars some v6's and some four bangers.I like it when people notice my cars cause I don't have alot of car i've had my garage to the max before...now I'm just trying to challenge myself to get better at tuning,using the same car in as many pp room's as possible.Because I like using versatile type of cars.like nsx or the corvette,or any other honda.if your worried about having just about every car on then if your serious gt player like me your not excelling and your tuning must be off the hook,cuz there alot of cars that are different some take time get runing like a well oiled machine..get it now.

The 100 car garage limit is terrible and rather pointless. It should be unlimited. I have a lot more than 100 cars that I like. In fact every car in my 1200 car garage has a purpose. Some of those have that purpose due to tuning. I like setting up a car for different levels of performance. As far as set ups for tracks or different PP levels that's simply handled by using the before race practice session.

Limiting the already needlessly restrictive favorites list won't do any good.

1200 purposes?really!,how many gtr's do you have?you gotta have like thirty of them right? I bet you don't use half of those cars. Not that many, I'm not a fan of the R35, and most of my tuning with that car focuses on the R34.

I have Forza, I see nothing to like about the auction house. I don't sell cars anyway. I haven't sold a single vehicle in GT5. I buy what I want to own.

Well I have a couple of gtr black edition and a gt500, my black edition I run 520 pp to 650 and my gtr gt500 race car I run at 600pp to 650pp,and they get alot of miles on them.

Just make the tuned cars your favorite...or just don't buy cars at all...

You see the problem? I'm not even 20% through the cars I want to own in the game and I've already gone beyond the limit. If I buy those 20 cars but then decide, "hmmm, I might try out these 20 cars!" I have to sell all the expensive cars I've bought and get back about 25% (is that right, I really don't know) of what I payed for. Then when I decide I want those cars I used to have again because I didn't like these new 20 as much as I thought, now I have to grind for hours and hours to get them back because unlike GT4, every car you buy doesn't get added to arcade mode for you to use anytime.

This idea would be terrible.

I've beaten the six figure cars with five figure car online PD hasn't made the splash to retool the car roster I love the game but it's mostly the same cars from last time...now if they get rid some of these duplicate car like you see in the Honda , Nissan dealership,maybe i would try having 500 cars in my garage but I'm taking a different approach I have 15to25 that i use for different purposes but the other just sit there I never use them I'm just done with 1200 car garage.. you probably have 8or9 of the same car just does'nt make sense to me.

Then just put those in your favorite list. There's absolutely no reason to hinder everyone else with a crippling and non useful car limit just because it's the amount of cars you use. Restrictions should be avoided at all costs.

Hey if you don't want to sell don't sell....I don't need to worry about having every car on the game,the pp system is the best thing to me.. Something tells me that you are very narrow-minded. Just because YOU only enjoy having really quick cars that beat everything and feel like they're on rails to drive, doesn't mean that everyone else will. Keep in mind that not everyone tunes their cars too, you mention tuning being a big reason for this limit.

For example, I very much dislike tuning a car, it makes a car lose its character, makes it boring to drive. Your idea would appeal only to maybe 0.5% (at best) of the GT fan population, so tell me why would Polyphony Digital go for an idea if it is such a small minority that wants it?

I think a better suggestion is: Why don't you just not buy more than 20 cars. It's not like anyone is going to make Bruce Willis kill you for the new reality TV version of "Die Hard" if you limit yourself.

I have a opinion just like you have I think your getting just a lil personal,lol I'm not trying to tell anyone what to play but "give a insult take a insult".My question is why do you play granturismo if you don't like to tune?isn't that the one of the main reason you play and enjoy the game of GT?I mean don't you like being able to build for success on the track?it sounds like he's interested in arcade style racer that's all I'm saying.

Maybe not... But from what I've seen from the developers, any suggestion is possible for these. I remember back on GT1 and GT2 when we had to make do with the garage limits though and for me it was hell...

One of the things I have fun doing in GT is collecting all sorts of cars because I can (And the obligatory ring laps involved). Having a Garage limit is pointless with all the cars we currently have in the game and I really see no reason to limit it as the game is in essence a celebration of the automobile that lets you collect everything from a Daihatsu Midget to a Veyron and drive them with no consequences.

There are far too many interesting machines in the premium car list alone for a silly limit to stop me from having all of them.

I must be really getting under people skin.I'll break it down yor not understanding what I'm talking about.You say what I'm saying silly but if your going have a sequel of a game people like me want fresher car lineup not cars i've been using I mean atleast put more cars in some of these very thin dealership lineup,to me it's like starting over beside the fact that I love the new physic mods the dodge charger is new car that i personally use. why didn't they keep going like the new Chrysler 300 srt8 or the new jaguar f type but we get is the same cars and oh yeah now we can ride on the moon isn't that fabulous .and we get add-one that you can't modify.ADD TO WHAT YOU HAVE "PD"

The key word is duplicates. and do have more than one of the same car?if so why?just curious.I've been in lobbies where a guy pulls out three of the same car in one room, and then the other guy says, why do you have so many gtr, you know what he said he said? he has one set up for each pp." Doesn't make sense"..for one you can save an a,b or c setup for one car right?so why go buy three gtr's for three different setup. then what's the point of having there milage system if your not putting them on,then some guys I know I'll ask if they have a certain car.I always get, "ha ha man I got so many car I don't even know".like to be kinda of organized and know what I have,"i know","so what"!!.how about getting into a lobby and then the auto timer starts..ok I got 40 sec to get a car," oh wait" let's look through my 1200 cars in 20 sec .now I'm sitting here listening to the beep noise you here when up&down on your garage list "oh I found one oh no too late",now you gotta sit there watch everybody going around "NURB"for 7plus minutes,that's one of the reason why I don't like all of these cars in my garage. and you don't make the money you make like on gt5 ,"and the 15th annies useless unless your just starting out".i use those cars for tunes for when and if I buy the car Theres gotta to be a better way to get to your car quickly.
