Any write ups on the pro Elise Cup?

Couldn't find one in the search.

I tried running it last night in an attempt to get my MS Elise tuned properly, but I'm struggling with setting it up properly.

Ran the 1st 5 laps of the Monaco and Grand Valley tracks. The AI was a bit nasty slamming me into the walls, and dirt on more than one occasion.

Still trying to get my car set-up, so I can run this one for real, and I was hoping to see how you guys have done on it.

:D Hi 69Z28SS ,
I never was too successful sorting out the Motorsport Elise's handling. This series CAN however easily be won w/Elise 190. In fact @ Cote d Azur I didn't even use any HP upgrades. Just scoot around the track while the rest of them are bouncing off the walls.
Can give specifics if you need them...UB57

I actually started this series last night as well. I did a lot of testing at Apricot Hill with both the 190 and the MS. And though I was able to turn a lap almost as fast with the 190, I was really inconsistent (handling was very delicate) so opted for the MS. I learned on my own as Der_alta did that you cant touch a rumble strip or a white line for that matter without the elise pitching it sideways (although it does correct rather fast), and that slightly softer/higher suspention settings help this tendancy.
So I started the series with a MS with some mods (had around 260Hp). I only ran Cote and won by around 20 seconds, though I know Apricot will be tougher, and judging from the compendium, one or two of the others. I am using T6's on the front and T5's on the rear which give about even tire wear, but I may have to pit, we'll see.
I will post how it goes when done.

That's exactally what I'd noticed, about the rumble strips. 3 laps into Apricot, I was leading, hit a rumble, that kicked me sideways into the dirt, and I got dizzy. Race over at that point!

:embarrassed: To 69Z28SS,
My most humble apologies!!!! Had been fine tuning my Elise 190 in Arcade mode & got "duped" into thinking it only had 190hp by the screen there. Have run Cote 3 times this morning to try & give you a better set of times to go from.

Elise 190 (196hp)
Stock except for Tires & Oil (The one I've used for a coupla Polls here)
Finish: 4th
Total Time: 18'22.294 Best Lap: 1'48.691

Elise 190 (215hp)
(Couldn't remove Balance & Polish)
Finish: 1st
Total Time: 17'29.490 Best Lap: 1'42.291

Elise 190 (289hp)
Maxxed Out
Finish: 1st
Total Time: 17'14.883 Best Lap: 1'40.573

Hope this makes up for my blunder, next time will engage brain before typing!!!

Will try the Motor Sports version after lunch, since I've spent so much time in the 190 lately maybe I can figure out it's big brother.

Thanks to all the tips here, I ran away with the Elise. For some reason it was a challenge with the MS, but going to the 190 made it easier????

Whatever... But that ones over, and I got another 190 for my trouble!:irked:

Why couldn't they give away another Lotus in that one?

On to the Pro Vitz.... What is a Vitz anyway? What would that relate to here in the states?
