After grinding through the stale career mode, noticing hardly any change with A . I., I've come to find that not to be the case at all in the single player experience! Not only do they fight back after being passed, but getting first requires a great tune, or masterful driving. Couple that with the fact I can now choose to take ANY car I own into a race of similarly matched cars, around any track, as many laps as I want, any time of day, and rain!? Me, my t500rs, th8, playseat & custom cockpit are loving free time lately! Goodbye career mode and nevermind online physics & talking during races! I'm in heaven.

GT6 has finally done the only thing I've ever wanted it to do. Provide a challenging offline simulation experience, with a broad range of tracks and cars. Boohoo, it doesn't track fast laps and leader boards etc.. So what. Kick it old school. Trust me, it's a lot more fun to have a white board that you and your buddies update with lap times on tracks! You actually remember your times that way. Get yourself a rig, invite some friends, have some of cali's finest buddies along with you & burn through the night. It's so fun! =D

I have a DS3 so that would become dull for me soon... Luckily i found on the internet an app that randomizes your car and track. So I basically buy a new car, tune it, and find the proper races in carrer to race with that car.

LMBAO... is this Kaz!? For real?!

OK, I'll give 'Tyler' a month before he realizes that...
1. the AI really don't 'fight back'. They practically give up the ghost after you pass them. Oh, if they are keeping up they're probably in a more capable car...
2. that 10 car grid ain't gonna grow any higher with a higher pp rated entry and
3. it ain't much fun using the weather and time tracks without a pit strategy.

I haven't been online with GT6 yet so I get to 'grind' it out without the benefit of login bonuses. The Super Class Nurburg 24 (highest purse for a single race) times 20 equals 2 inexpensive 550+ pp race cars. 240 minutes of racing for a single race car!? Six hours?!

OMT on Arcade. A 'Low' grip level track option (career mode default setting) gives better grip than a 'Real' grip level setting. Welcome to the real Real Driving Simulator.

Enjoy Kaz errr Tyler ;)

My signature may be relevant here.

I'm glad you're having fun OP, but personally I think the AI sucks in every game mode in GT6. And as far as a "challenging offline simulation experience" goes, well, many would probably argue otherwise. That's why we need some kind of difficulty option. So those people could say the same.
