endurance mistake

I recently been doing the 24h le mans race and got 16h in so far and paused the game and acedently hit quit race .. can anybody please give some help of what to do now? I was 296 laps in too. is there anyway to save it, or jump back in it???
 
Do it again, and I mean now!

Or do what I did, quit the game, delete your game save and start the whole thing again. Then you will be a couple of weeks away from having to drive the endurance races again.

But no you can't go back in.
 
aawww that suck BIG TIME man,i feel for ya i was 2 1/2 hrs into the ring enduro race ,did the same thing .its a damn shame

I thought that they fixed that in one of the latest updates.Now it asks you to confirm that you really want to exit.Is op's GT5 up to date?
 
Wasn't there an "are you sure you want to quit" screen added in a previous update?

Yep when the "ARE YOU SURE" pane pops up it defaults to "no" so you actually have to move the cursor to "yes" and hit the X to quit the race. Really no excuse now.

Isn't that only on the "Restart Race"-option?

Man I feel for you minirampmike!! And I tought I was pissed when I accidently restarted the Grand Valley enduro 10 laps from the end (before that update). You'll have to start again, sorry.
 
This sort of thing has happened to me three times.

First time the power dropped out (black out) at 12 hours in, I ended up starting again and around 19 hours in I accidently restarted the race (before they added the "are you sure" popup) when I came back from a break. Third time I was in around 10 hours and some odd network thing happened and the PS3 kicked me out of the race.

You have to deal with it, I haven't attempted it again as I am waiting in hope for mid race enduro save option.

What? That sucks. I have never had my PS3 actually interfere with my gaming if there's a network problem (And I've had many).

Now, I can totally see that restart glitch happening. THat's never happened to me on an endurance, but it's happened before. Thankfully they fixed that.
 
I lost a 24hr Nurburgring race at the 9.5hr mark,by my own carelessness,and was quite unpleasant to be around for a few days!...
One other thing that happened during a recent 4hr Ring race was that the screen was suddenly filled with this blackened window,as I'm negotiating some nasty bends,telling me that a new update was available for download and would I like to do so?...Driving was impossible until I was able to figure out how to get rid of the blasted thing and of course I crashed wildly!...I was able to resume after about 10 secs...Now that was a pop-up!!!!!👎
 
I was 8 hours 52 minutes into the Tsukuba 9 hour and then a power outage struck. I was so pissed. Tsukuba is my least favorite track. Never bothered to do it again.

This happened to me with a bspec 24 hour race. During it PD brought down online to release the update to fix the SSR7 glitch. As I was signed in at the time it stopped the race. I would recommend signing out of PSN before starting the race.
 
thanks guys for the info. I just got done with the 24h nurgburging and now trying to get my hopes back up for le mans :p
 
Oh my word.. I would have broke my wheel if I done that. You must restart. The in game same I wasn't complete. We can save in the middle of a Championship but none of the Endurance races. Let's hope that it's fixed later through a update.
 
yesterday I delete GT5 installing just to do the X1 glitch at A-spec 24 Nur race + I don't want play 3 consecutive days without saving race ....:sly:
