hey guys do u guys feel that poly made enfuduro a living hell..? some of the races says only "normal care only" i'm like i have to get a gay normal car that is slow as hell ....
 
Yes, it's better than just using a 1000 hp car and smoke the opposition.

Streets_on_fire.....you obviously don't have the patience to play this game.....PD did a WONDERFUL job with it's restrictions and enduros...it makes you use a VERIETY of cars instead of just whipping through the whole game with 1 car.....

why do you play this game? and why bother with the GTP forums if all your doing is complaining about slow cars! (not to mention your attitude adjustment we ALL enjoyed);)
 
well i take my time playing the games but..i hate what they have done..but who cares anway..and also for those that say they need normal cars only what can i mod on my car..?
 
At the moment i am doing the Polypony Digital Cup in an RX-8!!!

ITS BLOODY AWESOME!!!

It may be 20 laps a piece but it is still really fun!!

My RX-8 (won by getting all gold in A licence) is slowly loosing HP and the 350Z is getting faster and faster.

This is making me have to race harder and be more aggresive.

It is EXTREMELY fun......

Try it.

PS. I like the slow car races....they create a challange :trouble:

I'm gonna do the PD cup in Pro , what car should I use ? Maybe I could use the RX8 or Cobra .. like Meeekael and Cano say . If using these cars give a close, tight race , the I'm in! :D

So about the enduros , I think I agree with Ducati that PD did a great job in the enduros . I wish in GT4 they would add in more enduros , and it would be nice to have a real 24 hour enduro in which you could save during pitstops. Kinda cool ;)
 
I just used a GT-ONE road car in the PD cup. . . AHAHAHA, usually lapped the 1st car on lap 6, and the leader on 8! :)! Awesome. I don't race to lose. If im going to spend 2+ hours on a series or in an eduro, by god, im going to guarentee myself a victory. :) I know - no sport, but I also have a 93% win ratio.

If your gonna use that car, you might as well make a hybrid that would have 5000 hp and can do 300mph in no time and lap the comp in 1 lap. I race to win too, but man I at least give the AI a challenge. Go through the game once and not challenge the computer and the replay value is not worht it, that will get boring quickly.

Slow, some of the "stock" cars are fast. Granted a lot of them are, but that makes a challenge, not some race handed to you on a platter where you don't have any competiton on you. Sounds like a drive in the park compared to a race to me.
 
I feel inspired...these holidays i'll start a new save where i will really race the competition.
 
Oh yeah - speaking about holidays. I almost forgot the there's school holidays on May . I must be too busy studying till I forgot to rest :D

Warghaha the PS2 is gonna be utilised 24/7 during the holidays . I'll start the PD cup and get the F1 ( at last )
 
Yeh, over here it's our school holidays know so i'm off to the PS2 for quite a while.

tis some peeps nature to dwell on the negative rather than look at the positives... Frankly any negative aspects of the game are far out weighted by the positive, its a hella game, dont see how their gonna top it but they/Polyphony claim they will/can/are gonna make it happen

I think you are only allowed to mod your tires.

For normal cars, I usually go with the Viper. I want to try a few others to see how I do but right now my PS2 is in the shop.

Ultra Softs are the best for handling
 
Masterblaster's right, they say GT4 is gonna be a WHOLE lot better.....and just the sound of "better than GT3" is like almost impossible....and if it is? i swear im gonna do a road trip to wherever PD creates their games and shake all of the guys/gals hands!

Sign me up in the "Love Enduros" club. I only wish I had more time to run them. It takes 15 laps to get a good rhythm going, and in the beginner races that's a whole series on 5 tracks.

GT3 is not a game for those who bore quickly. There are dozens of other racing games for those who do. I really don't understand the drive to "beat" this game, since the only reward is more cars... which people like that aren't going to drive anyway, since they'll be busy using the same 1000 hp monster to beat the next series.

It's all in the journey. If you just want to get there, why spend the time to discuss it?

speaking of enduros, what have some of you guys ran the SSR11 enduro in? im thinking of doing it today as i have all weekend off....and am looking for a challenge. any spicey experiences on your guys behalf?:)

They use R390s and Mazda 787b type cars...so i suggest one of those types or an F1.
