Endurance save glitch, interesting outcome

Doing the A-Spec 4 hour Endurance Roadster race. When i resumed the race the car over shot the pits (under computer control), and currently driving around on it own, tires are shot and i got a half tank of gas left..... hopefully it pits when fuel gets low..........

Basically its in B-spec mode and i have no way of controlling the driver LOL

Wont dare try a 24hr race till these problems are fixed
 
If you would have approached the pit in a realistic way, this wouldn't have happend. Tsukuba always had this problem. So don't worry, next time just drive in there in a normal way.

By the way, there are already threads about this.
 
ummm, i was in the pits when when I suspended the race, it restarted before the pits under AI control. Had nothing to do with me

Will check out the other treads
 
You might as well quit that race, the AI won't pit for you. :ouch: It just takes over and eventually leaves you roaming the track with no gas.
 
Just happened to me. My car just kept hitting a wall then reversing over and over. Eventually one of the AI cars pushed me straight and the car continued the race by itself.

Would have been gutted if i'd been 23 hours into a race :)

What he means is that before you entered the pits and suspended the race, you should have drove into the pit lane at a slower and more controllable speed.

The main reason the glitch is happening is because people are barreling into the pit lane.

I make sure to slow down quite a bit before the AI takes over.

Sorry, but as i have already stated in another thread, this statement is utter BS. you can enter the pits as slow as you like, as early as you like, when restarting the AI is screwed and doesn't make it to the pits.

It is totally random as i have tried over and over again and there doesn't seem to be a common connection.

I had a similar pit glitch it happen 3 times in a row on Tskuba in the 4 hour race. I entered the pit, at one case as low as 30km per hour and it my car drove right through without even an option to stop for gas and change tires. I have also seen it on Leguna, its so frustrating.
