Endurance: why not change online with friends?!

Well, I've been reading the "Endurance Save" thread and wanted to share an idea/suggestion to PD. Sorry if somebody already came up with this.

If PD wants to keep the endurance races as real (but doable) as possible, why not allow endurance racing to be executed online by 3 or 4 friends, sharing the racing seat, just like the real thing?! You split money and exp in the end.

You make the arrangements, start the race, drive for a few hours then pit and another friend takes over. Just like IRL. Saving will be unnecessary, hell they can even remove the 'pause' button. Then it will be real and doable.

But now?! I very much like the game but 24 hours (or even 9) nonestop driving?! How real is that?! No way I can do it, gaming is not my job. And how real is hitting the 'pause' button?!

What do you think about my suggestion? Can we hint this to PD? Or it's already done?
 
Personally I would love this too. It might be a pain getting 3-4 friends who are all free in the same 24hr period but if there was any way they could put this in I would love to see it.
 
No! I'm not sharing my XP & Credits with anyone thank you! We don't get decent amounts as it is without sharing it! A save function will do just fine thanks!
 
And who gets the prize car in the end?

Why not just get some friends over at intervals and take turns doing say 2-4 hours shifts?

Besides, i'm 42 and my mates are into going to the boozer and getting smashed...who would i do this with?!

save feature please.
 
It's not a bad idea, but I don't think it would work so easily for the reasons of prize credits and car, as mentioned. :( That would snowball if 1 person did 4 hours, another raced 6 hours etc...:indiff:

Yes, I feel the best fix would be to get a group of friends together (in house) or the fabled "SAVE" function. 👍

That's exactly what i thought and came here to post...
I think it would be the best way to keep a 24h race as real as it could (both saving and pausing fail there) and give you a very good reason to "train" Bob (or multiple Bobs) throughout the game's B-spec events (certainly you wouldn't want him to ruin your hard worked progression.

Of course the 24h party/race at home with friends is also a very valid option (the one I'm considering if no news come with the updates)
 
lol, why not have it all, save function, online sharing etc. everyone got thier share. need real challenge? ignore the save function. no time to play, u can use the save function and finish it slowly. want to hv fun with your online buddy worldwide? there you go the online sharing. everyone win.
