I did a quick search and didn't find anything. So, I was racing the Miata 4Hr race and went into the pit to save. On my approach to the spots in auto drive I saved and exited. When I got back on to play it automatically asked me to continue in which I agreed. When it loaded up, the car was still in auto drive and it did a quick left turn out of the pit just prior to the barrier and back onto the track. Then it tried to reenter the pits late and hit the barrier. That was the end point of the enduro as it continued to try and go through the barrier. Did I do something wrong?

People have said there was a glitch on Tsukuba. Did you enter the pits using the long lane on the inside of the final turn?

Some guy just said this happened to him on nurburgring 4 hour too

The general consensus seems to be, if you go to fast into the pits it will mess everything up, and you'll have to restart the race

So make sure you enter that pit from as far back as possible and do it at like 5 mph

Yep that was the one. Are you suppose to pit and STOP before saving?

Ya if you enter the pit lane too fast...it will mess the auto drive up. That wasnt my issue though. I was already in the pit lane and in auto drive. I cant control my speed in auto D.

This happened to me earlier today. I noticed that I had control of the car for a split second before the AI took over and tried getting into the pit by hitting the barrier.

So, I quit the game and loaded it up again. When the game asked if I wanted to continue from where I left off, I replied yes and kept my foot on the brake. My car slowed down and I had full control of the car again.

I don't know if this will work for you, but you can give it a try.

Will do. Thanks

It works depending on how fast the game launches the car and how soon the AI takes control.

I'm nearly 4 hours into the 9-hour enduro, taking it easy on my way into pit lane and all, and on my most recent resume my car is getting rocketed out into the track from pit lane and the AI gains control a second or so sooner than previous times.

I've salvaged a failed start-up sequence on this race once already, but I gues that just p***ed off the game 'cause it really laid it on me now. I downshift into 1st, slam the brakes, turn to the right as soon as the screen loads up but I can't quite get the car back onto pit lane before the AI takes over.

Makes no sense to me why the game spawns your car at random (often high) speeds when resuming all endurance races, it does it at Nurburgring, Indy, Suzuka, you name it. Testing a new feature of the game really that advanced a concept?
