Does anyone know if there's a point at which rebuilding engines becomes unfruitful? In other words, after so many re-builds does the HP fall off so quickly that it's going to be cheaper to buy a new vehicle than keep investing any further in the one you have?
The Bentley I have now has just under 6,000 miles on the clock. I rebuilt the engine when I first got it, and then just a few races ago when the HP fell off again. The option to rebuild is there again (so soon!) for another 500k, of course!
It would be nice if the odometer re-set to 0 when you've rebuilt, but it doesn't, which makes me wonder if there is a point at which you would be better off buying the car again?
