Engine Cut Outs

i was driving my Altezza in an Arcade race. I was in the lead by like 5 secs. Fairly close race when all of a sudden my engine cuts out and i cant move. I pull out my controller and plug back in. STILL doesn't work. Then I push start to see if the controller is broke its not. So I try a different controller still nothing. Then i just quit the race.

Has anyone had this problem???

YES I have been racing many times and I will come to a turn and the car wont turn so I hit the wall then when a try to back up the car wont move, I think the computer was mad I had already lapped teh field like 4 times. Either that or the punk little kids of my parents friends ****ed with the controller the otehr night.

i had a problem like this but with the wheel, unfortunately i had to start up everything all over again!

Sometimes when i race certain race cars (can't remember which ones) the engine cuts out for about 1/2 a second.

i had the same prob. what i did is saved my game (i save it after each race) and cleaned the disc. no probs cents. :lambo:

Well guys it could be the disc but I doubt it.

As this is the Real Racing Simulator perhaps cars who haven't had an oil change for ages cut out? :?:

or maybe a BIG mileage causes engine problems....:bomb:

Or if you mess about with Settings there's a chance that you knacked the car suspension and the wheel jamms on the housing....:burnout:

These or all just thoughts and I have no evidence to suggest there true of :gt:

I have had the problem with Tekken tag tournment, but never with any other game, so im guessing that its the disc.
