Engine Revving!

Please help. I have a problem with an Audi TT. It has an Escudo engine, with an Escort WRC Stage one turbo, a GT40 road car chassis, and Escudo Tyres, Drivetrain, and LSD to cope with the extra power. It also has fairly high downforce (2.5, 2.5). There are no other modifications. However, it does not cope with the extra power, and revs through every gear. It doesn't handle either. It's worse than the Escudo! This doesn't make sense, seeing as having the Escudo drivetrain and LSD, surely it should handle like the Escudo? However all the wheelspin seems to stop it turning. What am I doing wrong?:banghead:

Sounds like you have to much hp. try changing the hp to like 1000 and to improve handling, use f1 chassis, MR drivetrain, and 85% light weight. Try to find a body that matches the f1's wheel base so it don't look retarted. And note the down force kills top speed.

Umm, yea, just some other things.

1. I want it to be an Audi TT
2. It's meant to rally
3. It only has 1200BHPish, while my Peugoet 206 has 3938BHP and drives fine. Welllll, kind of.
4.Hmm, lightweight, good idea.

Sorry, I should have explained myself a bit better.

What exactly is the problem with your car revving in every gear? Last time I checked, revolutions per minute were neccessary to the operation of an internal combustion engine. Perhaps if you clarified what your problem is we would be able to help you solve it.

what turbo and intercooler are you running? sometimes a racing intercooler can cause the car to lag or a turbo that is too big can cause the car to lag.....just a suggestion

No intercooler, Escort Stage 1 turbo. And I mean the the revs are maxing out, then going back down very quickly in every gear. In fact, download the car and you'll see what i mean
