Engines misfiring - Have you experienced this?

I do so apologize if someone has already asked this question but I did search the subject for a few minutes - find nothing about this. I've noticed this since the last update, it doesn't matter which car i'm using but the engines sounds as if it is misfiring - alot. I've watched replays and YES, the misfiring is very evident. Does this impact my lap times? Yes, it does. I ran some laps at Suzuka yesterday,, was ahead of my ghost considerably on lap 4, then on the last straight the engine started that "misfiring" - my ghost caught up and passed me. Yes,, I know it's just a game but this is really weird and so far I'm finding no solution. I have rebooted my router, I've shut down the PlayStation, removbved the disc and cleaned it, rebooted and the misfiring is still there. I'm going to open my G29 pedals and see if perhaps that's the issue but I cannot imagine it is because the pedal assy works for GT6,,, Hmmmm..Any thoughts would be most welcome and I soi thank you for seeing this. Well, a video would be helpful on that matter.

Make sure the HUD is on and watch the throttle meter to see if it is moving. If you've got a controller problem it may be that you are going off throttle for a split second, which would make a sound like a misfire I imagine.
