Well that Escort Cossie Rally car with exactly the same paintscheme as in GT2. Personally I'd prefer road versions or atleast not the same paintscheme yet again. Despite there boy racer image, Ford Escort XR3is/Astra GTEs/Golf GTi Mk2s should be included too as everyone in Europe must know about these 'performance' versions of cheap cars. For a 'Encyclopedia of cars' GT4 is very lacking, although mainly in the non-Japanese stakes...
As zefff said, the Ford Capri should deffinately be in! 3.0 litre engine FR combined in a suicidal package.
- 60hz mode or guaranteed full speed/ full size display (and three exclamation marks behind that) !!!
- as someone already mentioned, a true reverse gear for the DFP wheel (if it´s not already included in the NTSC version)
- Saab cars and more Volvos in the game
No, threads like this are not stupid. The developer (assuming they see and take note of suggestions such as these), should be able to make small changes to the game for non-asia releases. Things such as 2-player garages and wheel selectable reverse gear and selectable crowd noise are fairly easy changes to make. Adding new cars/tracks is obviously not going to happen because that involves massive time in modeling.
Well I've thought about that. Maybe Sony could include any extra stuff to the Japanese if they release the online GT. Hopefully they'd be fairly happy since they've got nearly every version of the Skyline concievable They can't moan anyway as they got the game first, as always!
And yeah I'd like to see more Volvos, especially the 850 & maybe even a Saab 9000
2- player upgraded cars for sure! especially for online play (if we even get that). also i havent heard much about racing mods like there were in GT1. do they have those in the Japanese version? Also special tracks exclusive to the North American Relese would be nice!
This game suck with no Home Garage cars in 2 Player mode its losing not 50 but 90% of fun... Few good cars .Tracks 2-3 real..But racing is not real no real sound. The smoke is like in old Gt on ps1 . The computer drivers are stupid how do you gonna test your Tuned car with Nos in Street race. No Venom SRT10 drag race vs Amg SL65 with some Nos it sucks
Hi, thanks to everyone who's put their comments and wishes forward on this thread I started. I've now sold my copy of GT4 (Japanese) on ebay. I will save the money for the pal version in hope of 2-player tuned garages!
All I can say is I hope they get it right for PAL!!!!!!!!!!!
Those wishes are pointless ,because PD gives a **** for us and are demands.They allways put too leatle european cars and give us piece of hope that they've be more in next part.And after years of waiting, when we fanally all get old Japanese cheat us all.
They can't moan anyway as they got the game first, as always!
