ASM Understeer: 10
ASM Oversteer: 10
Traction Control: 5

I reduced ASM to 0 and TCS to 3 (because i use a DS2). But then again, i'm a noob :p.
 
I'm trying to make sense of the first post. :confused:
Now that we have a car & track combo, does it mean that we now only have 24hrs to submit a time? In which case when does the timer start?
When ericdemoryGT receives the first PM?

Basically, when's my 🤬 time due?

And we can run with no driving aids at all if we like?

Clarity in the first instance saves all this extra discussion later on where a new entrant has to pick through several pages of posts finding parts of rules here and parts of rules there. 👍
 
Read my post with the BIG #'s and letters. And look at its post time.

Lancer, do whatever with the car but just don't add extra HP.
 
I'd say thats going beyond the edge. Only mods should be driving aids, In my opinion.
 
That sounds good. If tuning got involved myself, SVX, and maybe Smallhorses would slaughter everyone.

I'm not sure. I sent times with and without aids, i dont know what Eric allows (although i'm trying to push for no aids :dopey:). Your time is due 24 hours after Eric says:

*Only modifications allowed to the car are settings on the Driving Aids (ASM and TCS).

I hate tuning. I suck at tuning. I'm a stock car guru.
Which is why I like this idea. :D


@ Eric: It's not my place to edit the rules though, it's your contest, you can set and edit the rules as you see fit, just make them easy enough to understand that a brand new member here could instantly interpret them with no difficulty and participate without asking all the questions that I've had to ask.

Thanks to everyone "in the know" that's helped out, it's gradually becoming clear... Maybe the deadline post with big letters should be linked to in Post #1 after it's posted each time, then we don't have to go digging to find out when and on which page it was posted? 💡
Something like: Deadline Here -> "Link To Post URL" would work. 👍
 
OK, I've run about 20 laps or so and have a time I'm happy to submit.
100% clean with no wall touches, driving aids 0/0/0, stock S2 tyres and no other parts fitted. Car shows 300HP on garage screen with no oil change and 296HP on selling screen. Now has about 45.6 miles on it!
See you at the finish line...👍

Are we allowed to discuss split times or does it all have to remain secret? :trouble:

I'll be able to post a MAX drive replay of my lap after the deadline if anyone wants to see it, NTSC users only and you'll need a MAX drive to download and view it. 👍
 
Now that i found a USB drive that works with the PS2 i'll bring you guys a picture to conmemorate the challenge :p.

Err. So what was the point of the 24hr limit then? :confused:

Doesn't it say (in badly worded capital letters) in the first post that you're keen on referring to, that:
THEN IF NO ONE POSTS THEIR QUALIFICATION IN 24 HOURS FROM THE FIRST QUALIFICATION, THEN IT WILL ONLY BE THOSE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE GETTING THEIR RECORDS.

No submitted time from SVX in the 24hr time slot = No time for SVX by my interpretation.

You can't have one rule posted and another for your friends. 👎
