Hi guys, been trying to get online all might and it keeps failing to connect me to the lobby or if it works I can't join rooms. Sometimes get Error Code [282]
I'm not 100% sure, but I think it has something to do with PSN. The last time I got it, I ran the ps3 update (even though I was already up-to-date). It fixed my problem right away and never had it since.
I know for certain it's not YOUR connection. Clearing cache, re-booting modem/router, hard wiring, etc. doesn't fix this error.
At last someone with a matching problem, before you ask I have done ALL updates, yet when I took the PS3 to a friends house and used his network, and lo and behold I could get online, confusing I think so
Be patient and read the latest in-game notice by PD which should appear on your start screen... they currently have trouble with their servers which will take some time to sort out. If you get lucky you might connect into lobbies fine though, don't know why but for me today it takes up to 3 game restarts until it works properly, if I get the error nothing but a game restart helps, if it works fine it stays fine for me until I exit GT5.
