Dont have a time yet :D Just feel like i need to prac couple of hours before i start drinking beer,or maybe i just take couple while practising :D Like said before,tokyo is quite new track for me so need to prac harder than before.

On the car debate, here is a list of the HP/Torque of the cars we're racing.

----------HP------Torque
GTR------506------66
NSX------510------64
"Z"-------504------78
Lexus-----519------66

The GTR and NSX have very similar engines. In my experience, the GTR is easier to drive in the corners but the NSX has better aero nad has better straightline speed.

The "Z" has not so good aero but tons of torque. The "Z" will be good on slow tracks where the torque gives superior acceleration but it will struggle on high speed tracks due to its aero.

We first had the Lexus at 613PP. When nobody picked it we decided to bump it up to 615PP. Me and Eppe first planned to use the Lexus but we went for the GTR in the end. We both thought they were very even, but went for the "safe choice" in the end.

I still feel very good about the PPs for the cars. My prediction for Tokyo is that given the high speed nature the NSX will be strong and the "Z" will struggle. The GTR and Lexus will be even.

I agree with you Johan, the Z is best out of tight turns, but looking at the list of tracks for the season there are not many which favour this type of car. At Trial Mountain it really was very noticeable trying to keep up with the Lexus, torque only goes so far.
Still I am not complaining, I am enjoying the racing.

Talking about slipstreaming tracks? Tokyo is one long straight :)
 
The only good thing about having a crashed back and neck which I have (3 broken discs in my neck and 1 in my lower back) is that I can watch this forum all day :)

I just felt that We should have 1 City track in the
series...This one was best of them.:indiff:

Oh here is also a few tricky turns, where You
easily lose time...I´m pretty sure that the
fastest driver will win again...
 
Yet again im not complaining about the choice of tracks... I like Tokyo. The only track I don't like is ....... you know which one :)
Guess my laptimes will be good enough after 2000 laps @ Tokyo :)
 
I'm not going to complain about my warning.

Like I said I had a familly emergency and would never have had time to let anyone know I wasn't racing and from this I am sorry for not showing. 1 off ocassion though I won't be getting issued another warning which I can guarantee :)
 
BTW. I got a PM from Kimi Raikkonen,(YES the REAL 1) he has time on thursday nights to race, so he wanted to join the series.
He just did the live-q, best time was 1´52.889.
There was 1 spot left, so he is now Peltonens new team-mate in Team Denzo.:dopey:

At 6:40 I wanted to overtake you on the inside but I misscalculated and stayed a little to long in your slipstream. You were allready steering into the corner so I had to go to the outside otherwise I would´ve hit you straight off the track, my bad. Other than that it was a great battle in the first few laps.

Good race.

Google is full of help getting the PS3 working better.
And the most important thing i think, Dont download
any XXX videos when You enter a race. Make sure Your
wife/gf doesn´t do it either.:ouch:

Yup.
Was thinking about driving 400kms today to Dublin City to pick up a G27 in an shop instead of having to wait days if i ordered online.

Thought better of it.
XXX is defo the only thing i would of had left.
 
A friend of mine and me went to Stockholm (300kms from where we live) just to buy a G27 and a Wheelstand Pro... It was for him though... :)

love the passion here, drove about 250km just to get GT5 2 days prior to release :D

I was so angry when i started the game @ first (got the game 1 day prior to the release) ... Saw the intro movie like 10 times and before that it took like 10 mins before the game even started -> Solution -> unplug network cable :)
