Those Golf's and all are above 3400mm! Are you talhing about that one in Pro Hall?? In that case the absolute BEST car to use is the expensive chapparal, that small box, it's under the length rule:tup:

I think the Clio is one of the best cars for this cup. I used it and won with ease but whatever you do do NOT put it in B-spec. I did that one the Paris track cous i think its soooo boring and I finished dead last.

I completly annihilated the competition in a mildly tuned BMW 120d. This car handles so well. Gas and it pulls nicely to the edge of the track, let of the gas and the thing just dives into corners.

Used a Clio V6 sport off the used car lot, and like others have said, it was an easy race.

I used an Golf GTI R32, which is one of my favorites in the game. Making about 270 hp with Stage II weight reduction, it sticks too the tarmac like glue. I also used it in the NA races in the Professional Hall & won those too. Unfortunately I couldn't enter it into the GTI manufacturer races. :grumpy:

BTW this is my first post.

Welcome to the Planet ajemm!!
Hope you enjoy your stay.
AS for me I used the Renault R5 I won tuned to about 250 HP and swept the series pretty easily.
I was rather irritated that my HSA tuned R-32 Golf was ineligible.
But the R5, once I got the handling tamed was pretty much a done deal.
Very fast for an old timer.

Another vote for the Audi A3 3.2 ... mildly tuned ... VCD is a must though. Besides you can use the same car for the A3 manufacturers race.

I just raced this championship and regretted that it was so easy. I used a Renault Clio V6 and completely blew the competition away, since I already did 2 stages of weight reduction and port polishing. Should have used a crappier car... :(

I did this with the VW Golf GTI. It was tough, but certainly not impossible. The key was to hit the nitrous ASAP off the line and definitely some tuning to get the lap times as fast and consistent as possible.

I think I used my R32 Golf... I raced a couple races and I let the B-Spec guy race.. That was a close race (In B-Spec)... It was very entertaining.

The real challenge should be whats the highest a-spec pionts you get. Ereyone except kinigit says it was easy, so im guessing everyone whop says its easy are getting 1 point for it. I used a 205 with a stage 1 turbo. Got 2-3 points per race.

it was murder as in my car mopped the floor with the competition. :)

After I tuned it of course.

Used a Mini S not fully tuned but it had an attachment of NOS... Sheesh the car barely fulls forward... The other cars always gain their loss in the straight aways (cause after I'm in the lead I save up my bottle unless I'm in a pinch)... Got 100+ per race... I like how NOS isn't extreme but boosts like a turbo or something (sound crappy though)... Cheap way to get some extra horses from the car I guess...

i just bought my Clio from the used car lot, will try tonite also. From GT3 i remember it is a great car in the league of with NSX/elise....
Using FF golf and cooper S to beat a M coupe? dude that sounds tough!

I used a stock Alfa 147 GTA (new one) that I just used to win the GTA cup... It's damned powerful for a small FF hatch. Anyways I almost won, if it wasn't for that meanie overpowered Ford RS. The M Coupe was surprisingly impotent in the race as an opponent, though... ;-)

Why is it you cant use the M Coupe in the seruies ?

No idea about why M coupé can be used only by the computer... I am afraid it's a bug. Are there other similar mistakes for other races? I heard that the Lancia Delta Integrale (to be bought used), can also be used for the euro hot hatch, but since the mechanism is similar to the one for the m coupé, I am not so sure anymore...

ive completed this with a clio v6, quite easily really. whish i used my cooper tho...

Did this with a mildly tuned Clio sport (not the V6) just added a sports suspention, racing brakes, chip, nos and 3rd stage turbo (may have been 2nd - what ever is below the max I used) and this pretty much walked it

It's not a bug, just an annoying "feature." There are several races where the AI will run cars that you aren't allowed to enter with. In the Supoercar Festival, you'll have to race against a Cadillac Cien, but you can't enter with it. In several of the races that are limited to cars from a certain time period, you'll see the AI racing with cars from outside that period. I suppose it's to make the races more challenging.

Also, the TommyKaira ZZ-II can't be used, but you race against it.
Quite potent too.

I bought a Renault 5 turbo and added a stage 1 turbo and semi race suspension to help with the horrendous oversteer and mopped the floor. You can also win the Renault at the Tahaiti Easy Rally.

Renault 5 Turbo. Next.

Even tuned, that's quite a struggle.

So far I haven't bought any cars. I am just using the cars I got from the Licenses and Missions. I also did this with the Lupo 1.4 that was the Bronze prize car for the B License. It really wasn't hard. If you are struggling on this one it is probably more to do with learning the tracks than what car you use.

I used the Golf IV R32. No Won the series with no probs last night. Didn't like the 87 Volvo Estate that I was awarded though.

Just use the best Renult Clio u can get the put like a level one or two turbo in it and u will smoke em.
