So who's taking part then, an estimated jackpot of 100 million euro's up for grabs if you just match 7 little plastic balls.

I prob wont enter, seeing as I think I will get mugged every hour or something if I won.

What would you do with all that money?
 
The estimated jackpot is £102m - thats Pounds not Euros!!!

Its insane, id buy me and my gf a huge house somewhere remote, near a nice fast country road into town, probably build a small race track, get a nice collection of cars, start a rally team and enter the WRC.:)
 
Not splitting hairs here, but in Euro Millions you have to match 7 balls... the odds of winning are ridiculously low at 76,000,000-1.... you are 25 times more likely to be hit by lightning!!! :sick:

Still, I've got my tickets, and I am confident that this is my last day of being a non-multi-millionaire :)

is that while holding a large metal pole in the air? or when in an underground compartment sealed in a rubber ball? and what if ive already been hit by lightening 25 times?? huh, HUH!!! lol :p gonna get my ticket later. i thought about the numbers on lost, but i dont realy want loads of bad luck and to have to share the money with millions of people :S
 
I'm doing a syndicate at work. Think there are ten of us. I suppose if we win, £10,000,000 should last me a good few weeks.

Whats more scarey is its not even the largest pot in a lottery, and only a single person won it on top of that.

If you win, do you get taxed on your winnings, or is it yours tax free?

I know they tax your winnings in the states, but here in Canada, its tax free, so if you win 3 million, you get 3 million instead of 2.3 million after taxes.

Sweet deal. Here, in SoCal, you win 100 million, you get 34 million. No foolin'. They take half away for the cash up front, instead of a 24 year payout plan which gives you the full amount minus taxes. Plus the half, they then take out local, state and federal taxes. 100 mil = 34 mil.
 
Wonder what I'd do with that kind of money...probably buy a real nice PC, some other stuff, put it in a bank and live off the intrest.

yes, if I should win that much money, I never feel save again. There's someone bound to find out that you won that kind of money. They could help a lot of homeless (living in big cities) people with that kind of money.
10 miljon euros is more than enough, as price money.
 
I love how you british people call it a draw instead of a lottery.

That's a buttload of money, though. I think you get taxed here if you take a lump sum. However, if you decide to get paid in incriments, there is no penalty. I'd always take the sum, though.

With that kind of money you could live the rest of your life on interest.

I won a year's admission to Bally's Total Fitness from that subway scratch off game. But, there's not a Bally's around here for miles, so F that.

I'm too lazy/poor to go all that way, and I'm too out of shape to walk to a gym.
