Transmission. What does it mean to you? To me it means the key to my torque and speed. For some its a key to victory to others they hate it and even for some cant even tune one. This is where i come to save the day
.
The invention: MUSCLE TRANSMISSION ( aka MTM)
The theory of gearing when you are drifting is quite simple
It goes: 1st gear straighten put -> Low gears push into corner -> High gears fly out of corners
Now the concept of muscle transmission is that short gearing and low speed gives you more safety and torque out of lower gears and let you move in all gears with most or to full power with a high rpm turbo at any speed.
Also gives you much harder drift car launching and pulling power.
Also remember that this is a low speed trans and should only be for sections and drifting not at all for drift racing.
This concept lets you utilize the maximum torque from a high rpm turbo with out having to down grade to a mid range or low range turbo.
The way it works: Follow Directions
(Note this is not an easy transmission and its extremely quick)
1. Reset Default Transmission
2 . Set "Top Speed" Corresponding to HP
0-140 Hp - Top Speed 99
141-650 Hp - Top Speed 130
651-800 Hp - Top Speed 143
801-XXXX Hp - Top Speed 150-170
3. Take all drive gears and put them all to the right.
4. Once all gears are shortened the top speed at the top graph should be altered by moving the the final gear to the right and rarely to the left to correspond to this:
0-140 Hp - Top Speed 82mph
141-650 Hp - Top Speed 105-127mph
651-800 Hp - Top Speed 130mph
801-XXXX Hp - Top Speed 140-150mph
