Hey there everyone!

I have started a little series on youtube.
As you can see by the title I have called it my Goodwood Challenge.
The object of this series is to take different cars around the Goodwood Festival of speed, set a time, then compare it with the previous cars to make a leaderboard showcasing all the different times and cars.
Each car will be standard as they come in the game with all cars being run on Sports Soft tyres.
I will be running the majority of cars with Aids off, there will be a select few were I feel I need an aids or two but I will run them all without aids first to see how I can cope. Any car that I do use aids on will be stated in the video description.

The updated leaderboard will be at the end of each video.

Here is the first video:

Video Number 2:

Video Number 3:

There are more videos on the way and I will add them to this thread as and when they happen! :)

If you like my videos then please like and subscribe as I have more of this type to come as well as several different types of GT6 videos.

Feedback would great as well as I am always looking to improve! :D

I like the idea as I'm doing the same thing (without recording) for my cars but I tune them to the same pp and then compare times.
I do it on Brands Hatch tho.

Sounds good man, I am sure that would throw up some interesting results.

Would you just tune them to the PP and run them or are you thinking about setting each car up as well to handle good?

I used to copy tunes from GTP but I realised I like them as they are more. I buy everything, I just don't adjust the numbers.
If you'd like I could post my list here or send it to you via PM.

It would be good to see the results, yeah! :)

Look who I stumbled upon here on GTP! :D

Good stuff Craig! I like the idea. Though it is my honest opinion you could've shaved a few milli-seconds here and there with some of the cars.
I've got an idea as to how this could evolve. Maybe host a weekly competition here, with respect to every car you tr out in the future. While everyone gets to learn how each car performs at goodwood, it would be nice to provide a sort of platform where everyone could try and beat your time in each tested car.

Just an idea, but for now. i'm watching this space ;)

I know that with more and more runs that the times would be quicker but I think in my head my main objective was to take a car, do a few runs to find my weak points in that specific car then go out for one quick run and take that as my time.
If took time perfecting my lines I know I would spend hours on each car, I like to do the best that I can as you'll know but that wasn't the main object of this.

As for competitions, I would be open for someone to do something similar in competition with me. I know I am slower than I should be as I am using a controller rather than a wheel, that is one thing anyway.

I am looking into ways to perfect this series, whether it be the way I do the times or the way I lay the videos out. :)

The next car I took round Goodwood was the Plymouth XNR Ghia Roadster.
Slow to start but I was quite surprised with its speed.
A few dodgy lines but I set a pretty good time.

Check out the video below! :)

Yup, I do know. Quite a good and unique idea that, tabulating each car's general performance at Goodwood 👍

Oh you are pretty fast with a controller too, don't sell yourself short mate!
That being said, this was a nice proper lap in the Plymouth! I also love the music in all the videos. And I like how you were flashing your lights throughout, what were you expecting someone to run across the track?

i certainly hope this series of yours picks up some appreciation. That way we can think of doing a competition or whatever

Thanks man! I can't wait to start the Sunday League again, that helped me improve so much last time.
Dissapointed I struggle to make your races.

I was getting bored in the car so started flashing them! :P

Next up we have the Schulze Motorsport GT-R!
Something a little more powerful!

Will it take the top spot though? Take a look at the video then!

Here we go again!
This time it is the Rocket, which ironically is a good name for it.
Quick little car!

I was really quite surprised with the results of this car!
Take a look at the video and the times and you might see why!!

Lotus Elise Race Car was the next car to be taken around Goodwood, watch to see how I got on.

This time out I used the Toyota FT-1 which has recently been added to the game.
Beautiful looking car!

Acrua NSX was the next car around Goodwood, would it beat its younger Honda counterpart that was uploaded a few weeks ago?
