Don't laugh. My current specs are 2.08Ghz, 512Mb RAM, 128Mb X850 Graphics card.. Occasional stuttering now that Dominion and it's flashy new effects are on.. so, if you have better comp than mine, you should be just fine. Although, within a week or two, I will have new comp :D this one is six years old and has more wildlife on the hard drive than anything else.. :lol:
 
What do you have the graphics set at? Also I wouldn't laugh at those specs. They're not that bad. My specs are an Athlon64 3500+, 1GB RAM, 256MB Geforce 7600GT. I last played Eve before the graphics update last year or whenever that was with these same specs except back then I only had 512MB RAM. I might try out the trial after I finish playing CoJ1 and DooM3.
 
I seriously need to get back into this game its awesome. I played mostly through the Apocrypha phase last year, with a six-month subscription.

I haven't really got the head for PvP combat, I got out of the ass-kicking game after I lost a 100 million ISK Drake in a high-sec war. :ouch: Instead, I prefered to scan down wormholes, mission areas and deadspace regions. Mission mining was my faourite past time, that I used to fund my industrialist operations.

Give me a month or two, and I'll be back in space. If you know of anyone looking for a 'close to perfect' Hulk miner, drop me a line. 👍
 
I lost my Drake due to my own stupidity. I warped right into Guristas-pirates base, alone.. Pod Expredd carried me home.. But, with insurance money, I bought Raven-class battleship! Revenge will be mine!
 
Going to drag this back up with a question.

Anyone on here playing? I run 5 accounts, and am currently looking for a new home. Nullsec preferred obviously, but I'll take lowsec. (My main is -8 sec status, so no highsec for me).

Just wondering if people are playing. Look me up, guska Cryotank.
 
I am thinking about getting the trial for this game. I like to do a lot of role playing, is this the game for me???
 
Anyone heard of Dust 514? It's a free psn shooter which is connected to EVE online, check the thread on gtp
 
I've been playing this game for a month after a long break, and it is still just as fun as before. I've actually started two additional characters that get financial assist from the main character :D
 
Is the game as hard as it looks ? lol because every time someone recommends it to me I feel like it's impossible to get into
 
Not really, all you need is bit of a patience. It's not a game that you can play through in 2 days. In fact, you can't play it "through" in traditional sense. There's always things to do. Start mining, get your own corporation/alliance going, survive through wars. explore places..
