Event Generator

Can anyone tell me why the Event Generator doesn't seem to generate race cars?

If you pick a low powered car, (modify a front-wheel-drive Celica) it will be hard for you to win even in EASY
If you pick the Escudo, then you are just a pvs$y, and you don't know how to drive....

I'm not talking about the Escudo. That thing is stupid. I'm talking mostly about the appearance. Maybe that's stupid. But when I took my Oreca Viper, which is pretty racy looking, into the event generator and was surounded by street cars I felt out of place Actually, the other cars kept up better than I expected, but it was my first run on Seattle Short Reverse.

-When I would do endurance races with my Rally Celica, I was always surprised how well the Subaru Legacy stayed close on my tail!

I remember a Vector, Corvette, Jaguar (XJ220?), maybe a Venturi... I can't really remeber specific models.

Those are some of the more powerful cars that AI uses.
-What does the AI use when you race with the Escudo? Maybe the LM Skylines or something ....

You can't really call the Escudo stupid. It is a great car!
-I added some GS cheats and it can now do the 1/4 in the high 2 second range!!!!!

-It only has about 5,000 hp, so its not that big of a beast!

I don't know as I haven't used it there. I like the Escudo for what it was made for. Pikes Peak up-hill. Other than that it's a little ridiculous. I've read posts where people go to great lengths to tune the Escudo for road racing. Why? I don't think you'd ever see that happen in real racing...

but then again it is just a video game and whatever's fun I guess...

I use it to win the Speed 12 on Red Rock Valley
-It is fast, easy to control, and takes the least amount of effort!!

I don't like the Speed 12. It's excessive, hard to control, and sounds like something's dying.

I guess it'd be cooler in real life, when you're not expected to control it going 200 mph

its not that hard to control, just turn at the right time and dont let up on the turn untill its over
