Ever been to places on a city track?

Ive been to picadilly circus before and visited Monaco last year while on a road trip.

I've also been to the Nurburgring on numerous occasions and have done over 200 laps of the track in real life so know the place pretty well. The detail of the ring in the game is simply amazing; right down to the position of the trees and the detail of the buildings around the edge of the track.

Although i'm still confident that the crest at the end of flugplatz (before the Aremberg right hander) is not as tight in real life as it is in the game.
 
Great thread! I've driven my cousins Datsun 510 race car on Laguna Seca, that was a blast! I've been to Tuscany and had pizza in the Piazza Del Campo. Been to New York, but live in Los Angeles.

All in all, today I plan on making a few hours to play. Can't wait to get some good racing in...later, Ken.
 
As I live near Madrid, i've been in many restaurants, bars and shops at those streets. So I drive my car (Seat Leon) many, many times there. It's one of the more amazing things i've discover in this GT5. I've speend much time going around in photomode.
 
I've eaten at a few restaurants right across from the Colosseum (so Rome) and I've also been to the island of Capri, which was one of the tracks in GT4.
 
I've walked a few streets of london (home straight and around trafalgar square)
I also walked the exact Rome course before we even knew the track would be in GT5.
Have also driven around Monaco.
 
Been to Indy and seen both the "oval" and road courses raced on.

Been to other great North American tracks, but they aren't in the game.... yet.

That made my day watching that, it seemed almost surreal since it is somewhere I know so well in the virtual world but never seen in real life. I am going to keep my eyes peeled for more vids like that.

I work in London and on nights I sometimes drive through part of the London circuit. Might try to get a video of the London circuit in real life at some point.
